That's a good one too. I think Lebron has a 43, 13, 15 game against Denver in 2010 if I recall which blows even this performance out of the water. But great games all around.

I always was amazed by great overall games with huge scoring outputs.

I remember Kobe had 53-10-8 against HOU
LeBron 50-11-9 or whatever was the statline was amazing too

I also really love those huge scoring outputs in limited time

Kobe 52 points in 34 minutes against MEM was amazing
And 56-5-4 in 34 minutes again and again against MEM was too.
Kobe 62-8-3 outscoring the Mavs through 3 q's in 33 minutes played
Does anybody know of other 50 point games with less than 35 minutes played?

Maybe not the greatest in comparison to some already mentioned but for me it is Rondo's 29/18/13. The Celtics were just blown out the game prior and were facing a potential 3-1 hole. Rondo completely dominates the game and looking back it was the beginning of a 6 game win streak that carried the Celtics into the Finals.

Also, Bird:

Larry Bird had 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 9 steals for the Celtics to come within one steal of recording a quadruple-double as Boston beat the Utah Jazz, 110-94, at Salt Lake City.

But, when informed of his opportunity, Bird chose not to go back into the game after being taken out in the third quarter. He totaled 33 minutes.

There's like a gazillion you can come up with on Wilt Chamberlain. Nate Archibald leading the NBA in both scoring and assists is up there too.

Here are some, both good and bad.

Chris Dudley- 9 pts, 12 rebs, 1-18 FT

http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199004140NJN.html

Bill Walton- 1973 NCAA Championship: 44 pts, 13 rebs, 21-22 FG. He missed 3 out of 5 FTs but only 1 out of 22 FGs.

http://members.tripod.com/ucla_hoops/box%20scores%20of%20past%20championships.htm#1973

Michael Jordan: 52 pts, 9 rebs, 4 steals. 24-29 FG.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/198811160PHI.html

Charles Barkley: 1993 WCF Games 5 and 7.

Game 5: 43 pts, 15 rebs, 10 assists. 16-22 FG.
Game 7: 44 pts, 24 rebs.

At the end of the 1987-88 season, Charles Oakley & Michael Cage were running neck and neck, the top 2 leading rebounders.

In Oakley's last 2 games, he had:

26 pts, 35 rebs, 16 offensive rebs.
24 pts, 21 rebs, 6 offensive rebs.

In Cage's last 2 games, he had:

15 pts, 23 rebs, 10 offensive rebs.
8 pts, 30 rebs, 11 offensive rebs.

Cage ended up leading the NBA in RPG. Oakley had more total rebounds due to playing more games.

Heh, and he was "modest" by halftime, having 20-15-6 (so, "only" on pace for 40-30-12 :lol ), but he felt more relaxed in the 2nd half, going for 33-17-8 in that period...!

BTW, not only was this a part of Wilt's 9 TD streak, he also missed a 10th just before for 1 assist, while he had already 2 more in a row. So, he was 1 assist away from recording 12 TD's in a row. :wtf:

1968 interview with AP sports writer Ralph Bernstein:

[I]Corpus Christi Caller-Times - April 21, 1968

Chamberlain's answer to people who ask why he has changed his style from accenting scoring to being more of a playmaker is typical of his logical approach to the game which has made him a big man. "I enjoy winning and I enjoy doing whatever I can do to help a team win. That may sound like something someone always says, but that happens to be true, Most of us, unfortunately, can't change our style and still be effective. Fortunately, I can. If I were on another team, maybe it wouldn't work out so well, maybe I would have to depend a little more on my scoring prowess. Right now on this particular team, I can pass and get away with passing a lot. It has worked out effectively. We won the championship."

This is what Wilt Chamberlain wants to be remembered as

There is no end to the incredible stat-lines that Wilt put up, but here is just one...

42 pts, 30 rebounds, 10 assists, on 18-18 shooting from the field.

I'm pretty sure Kendrick Perkins has several canidates for the most amazing statline ever.

Jordan (I could post dozens) -

52 pts/14 reb/8 ast on 20-28 FG

43 pts/6 ast/8 stl/5 blk on 16-29 FG

57 pts/10 ast on 16-29 FG

Don't forget 69 / 18 / 6 / 4 / 62% against (who else?) the Cavs.

Game 7, NBA finals against the 10 time champion Celtics:

42/13/12

Jerry West being clutch yet again to no avail (two point loss).
