Avatar looked good when I saw it in 3D IMAX but watching it at home on blu ray just exposed how weak a film it is. It's just Dances with Wolves in space. Titanic is an absolute crock of shit. I saw it in the cinema and even at 13 I knew it was crap. It's just a melodramatic love story set on a famous ship.

The Matrix I enjoyed and thought was a good film. It's just good though, not great. The sequels are abysmal.

My girl told me the same thing. I convinced her enough. She hated it so much. At one point she had texted me saying she's craving it and she enjoyed it. That was once in a life time. I asked her a few days ago when can we go back at it she said whenever. The thing is you need a lot of moisture or lubricant.
