Awful performance from the Lakers. Ryan Kelly and Kendall Marshall shouldn't be playing.

Kendall Marshall would be the 2nd best player in the 2013 NBA Draft class behind MCW if he had entered the 2013 NBA Draft.

He's a diamond in the rough.
This guy can be good if his shot was more consistent.
Mitch wont develop him though, he'll be gone by next season like Sessions.

Yup, that's why he was thrown into a trade because Suns didn't want him, released by Wizards and then sat in free agency half the season, right?

Dantoni. Remember Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, and Steve Blake when the played Point Guard for the Lakers?

That's why you have to make trades like Boston with Crawford.
Marshall for a 1st round pick and you are in a good situation to tank.

he's got the ball in his hands a ton, the lakers play a fast pace, they shoot a ton of 3's, marshall is naturally a great passer with great vision, and he's the only pg on the roster that's healthy enough to play

Marshall is a good playmaker and I think that's the only NBA level on his skills. He's putting up numbers but I don't think teams are paying enough attention to him. He will be a cheap alternative for us next year. I think the Lakers should just tank. The more wins this guys put, the more money they will make next year. I like some of the guys to stay like Swaggy P, Johnson and Henry. They have roles they can fill. I can't believe it's ok to lose as I bleed purple and gold but right now it makes sense .

He's been a steady set jump shooter. Always seeing him drop these bombs from 3-4 feet beyond the arc when the defenses collapse. The percentages speak for themselves.
Also for someone who clearly isn't NBA quick, he has gotten in the lane pretty easily. Must be crafty. Solid finisher if he can go to his left. He needs to develop a runner, tho. With the way he gets in the lane, he could be dynamite if he got down a solid runner with his 6-4 height.
Good handle, too. Not flashy, but he breaks pressure and can split doubles.
I'd say most of Marshall's offensive skills are average to elite. Defense is different story.

Is he not a lefty? I haven't seen him drive enough to make a judgement about his handles, finishing or ability to split the double but I do see him hit 3s way behind the line that have me thinking "how is he hitting this with a set shot?"
If the Lakers somehow get Embiid, Marshall could be made to look a better defender if he plays basic fundamental D. Guide him into the help, take away the baseline and fight through screens or go under if the handler can't shoot (except Rondo).

He looks like V-Span to me. Decent playmaker, not that athletic, average-below average defender, decent shooter when wide open.
Told LA fans to hold off on their Embiid delusions until you could amass ur losing streak when you came East.
Top of the 2014 draft class has a chance to revitalize the East as a conference.

It would be no surprise if the east got picks 1-8.
If they tank, the NBA will give them Wiggins just like they gave Ewing to NY.
