#Knicks point guard Beno Udrih has requested a trade, ESPN New York has learned. Story coming soon.

I don't blame him. He was lied to about Knicks using 2 point guard lineups, which they don't do this year. He's been blamed by Woodson for things that weren't his fault. He's been so-so, but if I were him, I'd do the same thing.

Lol how much will it take for the Knicks to blow the whole thing up?

He could help the Lakers, maybe Shumpert and Udrih for Kendall Marshall?

Wow, doesn't Chris Smith know that he's an absolute scrub. He's just mad that he sees somebody getting zero playing time and wishes he could get paid to just sit down all day.

Anyways, Udrih doesn't have much value so I can't see the Knicks trading him. He's just going to have to unhappily ride it out.

Did he just wish someone would die, so that he could get his roster spot?

Wow.

Udrih is actually a pretty effective player if used properly. At least, he was a couple of years ago. I hope he finds himself in a better spot.

OMG our third string PG wants a trade. What will we do? He might want to play better and build some value if he wants a trade. We were one of only a few teams to even offer him the minimum so it's not like this season built a huge market.

He's totally right but he also has no value.

Wow.
About 2,000 people would need to die before he would be worthy of a roster spot.

Udrih should be our starting PG with Murry as the backup. Felton and Prigs are garbage.

That screw up by Prigs today leaving Williams open was so amazingly bad.

If we had a competent owner and GM, this team would have been blown up by now.

lol i was watching Felton play today and thinking if i was Beno i would demand a trade.

There's a reason Knicks went from a 5 games winning streak to a 4 games winning streak. Felton came back.

New York is a disaster, I dot think anyone really wants to be there now. Doesn't surprise me they wouldn't play a guy who can create baskets for others. Itrs ran horribly from top to bottom. I feel bad for Knick fans. There are not many teams with a huge market that can attract free agents, and they have screwed that up big time.

And to fix the Knicks is so simple, but of course, idiots run the organization.

Let's face it, Melo's time here is done. To sign him to a max contract and expect another FA to sign here puts us in the same situation we've already been in, but for another five years.

The Knicks need to get the most out of Melo now, and no, that's not on the court, but in his trade value. The Knicks have squandered so many draft picks over the years, and for what? For nothing. If I'm the Knicks, I trade Melo and Chandler and anyone with value and just stockpile draft picks to start anew and they can start right away in this years draft or the next. The Knicks have their 1st rounder next year, but none this year. Trying to get a decent pick this year is going to be tough, so if I'm the Knicks, I focus on trading Melo for a few draft picks, primarily the 2015 first round pick. The Knicks will be a shitty team again next year as all the bad contracts are finally expired and gone, and then they can start fresh by having at least two high draft picks including a Lottery pick which they've so desperately needed in the longest, plus all the cap room in the world to sign a FA or two.

Yeah, ideally, this is the way to go. But I dont expect them to move Melo or Chandler. They still have hopes of the playoffs, which is still very plausible since they are only 2 games out of 8th. But they need to secure 6 or higher to get out of the first, and its a uphill battle. Knicks will be lucky if they can pull off a sign and trade for Melo in the off season.

He couldn't get off the bench for Milwaukee last year or NYK this year. This means you aren't any good. Be happy you are still getting an NBA paycheck.

Did you know he was making 7.4MM last year?!?

He played well in Orlando, looks like he was uncomfortable with the Knicks.

Locker room could be a mess when any team plays below their standards

franchise was screwed when Dolan vetoed Walsh and traded for Melo

I mean it was screwed for many years before that, but that's the impetus for the recent problem

imdaman99
01-21-2014, 05:49 PM
It started when he was left out on an island to cover Bradley Beal. Meanwhile there were 10 other defenders on the bench who could have done a better job defending him. Then of course he got villified for it when it is not his fault, he is a pathetic defense but it's up to the coaching to realize that. Woodson starts blaming him for things, and next thing you know Potatohead loses another one. I believe he's lost Chandler too.

Give the Knicks fans what they want and blow this shit up. If a team is not willing to give Knicks picks for Melo, fck them and let him lead the remaining players back into the playoffs. They can sneak in as the 8th seed, they are not too far gone for that. Chandler should be traded as well, KMart is capable of playing better defense at this point. Once KMart is back, plz get rid of Chandler.

Chandler to Dallas for Marion and a pick or Larkin and pick.

Melo to Phoenix for Plumlee and pick(s)

I'm all for blowing this shit up. But it's Dolan's team - it'll never happen. Look how long Glen Sather has been GM of the Rangers.

Sucks that I can't even sit down and enjoy a game.
