We're talking about PEAK here, not prime. I'm talking about how good these guys were when they were playing their best bball, ever. Feel free to give a sense of how big you think the gaps are, too.

Aside from Jordan, Wade clearly has had the best peak out of any of those other players. Don't think this is debatable if you were paying attention to him in 08-09.

His offense and especially defense >>>

No one has though. MJ from '90 - '96 is the greatest player of all-time. Not just greatest perimeter peak of all-time. No weakness in his game during that time span. So why would anyone try to waist their time arguing the inarguable?

No one watched Wilt or Russell in their prime here, I don't even think anyone saw KAJ in his prime here either. I don't comment on players I never saw. Consensus generally has MJ as GOAT. With good reason too.

Flash never had the impact Iverson had on the sport. Dwyane's the better player all-time, but in their primes Iverson was a taller figure in the league; much more exciting, captivating, and more influential

Did he have Allen's balance and coordination? :confusedshrug:

Could he play off the ball like Iverson could? :confusedshrug:

Could he score from the midrange like Allen could? And pull up and shoot over defenders as consistenly? :confusedshrug:

Was his release as quick as Allen's? :confusedshrug:

Could he hit shots as defended as Iverson could? :confusedshrug:

Could he change direction as quick as Iverson could, and was his crossover as deadly? :confusedshrug:

Show me all the floaters, scoops, and double pumps in Flash's arsenal :confusedshrug:

He can't hit the triple, nowhere near as fast, not as deadly one-on-one, wasn't as quick in transition, nor had handles as tight as his, no questioning that

Hell are you blabbering about? The eye test nonsense? A lot of that is silly and doesn't show who the better all around player is. Crossover? Are you asking if Wade's crossover was deadly? Should I list shit like "where are all the posters Iverson did?":oldlol:

Wade peaked 30/5/7 49% with great defense. That's better than version of Iverson and it's not really close.

Those laxed handchecking rules and rules changes, I'm so impressed... :sleeping

And Ewing peaked with 29/11/2 with great defense, better than any version of Charles Barkley, right?

In addition to the rule changes, Flash's also benefited from having shooters and floor spacing. In addition to handchecking, Allen never had any shooters to space the floor for him. Philly management has been atrocious dating back to the Harold Katz days. The one time Allen gets a shooter he's stupidly traded to Utah. And we already saw what he could do once he had an actual sidekick (Anthony, broken-down C-Webb).

A.I @ his peak took down two top 10 players, undefeated at their physical apexes, won an MVP over said players plus another top-15 player at his apex, and after Jordan was the most menacing and intimidating player. During the golden era of 2's, and in a league with more star parity, Ivers0n was always right at the top with the best of em. Wade was never consistently on that level

I understand Flash's better all-around and is deservedly ranked higher. However he's not the pure scorer AI is, nor has his heart, ability to play through minor injuries, nowhere near his endurance, or tenacity. If the Sixers organization knew how to actually build around him, and if he wasn't blackballed from the league this would be a very different debate

Obviously Jordan is first, and Kobe is second.
The rest are actually an interesting topic. Iverson impacted the game the most, that's for sure, McGrady had nothing, besides that one season on a very very bad team. If that's his peak, that's a VERY weak peak.
DWade's peak is 06, unquoestionably, now for the sole reason of winning a championship, I'd probably put it ahead of Iverson, but the refereeing in those finals has it's own questions arising. I dunno, probably looks like this
1.Jordan
2.Kobe

3.Wade
4.Iverson

Why is 09 wade considered as his peak year? He was on a shit team, obviously he will put up stats. Just like Kobe in 06, although that was a whole different level even for a shit team, T-mac in 03 (I heard him say that he was as good as Kobe that year because of his stats, that shit makes you cringe), Iverson in 06 I believe too.

I give Kobe the edge because of skill alone.

Dwade is not a better bball player than Kobe Bryant.
