Dwight is ahead of Aldridge, lol how is this even debatable? I'd put Dwight over Hibbert too but I see where you're coming from. Hibbert anchors the best defense in the league.

Solid list, good thread, will read again.

I didn't want to anger the butthurt LMA stans, in all actuality, I'd put Howard ≥ LMA.

WTF is up with Houston fans being completely salty at Aldridge? Agenda to prop up weak minded DivaDwight?

If you don't have him in your top 5 this year so far you have no idea about basketball and should just stop posting.

Durant

George
Aldridge
Lebron

^ these 3 are even.

Rest don't matter.

I think everyone can agree Durant is well on his way to winning his first mvp.
However I still wouldn't call him the games best player and I can't get behind ranking George ahead of James. I know some will disagree with that but most of them will be the usual suspects so IDGAF.

No ****s given because no one else is winning.

Right now it is Durant's award to lose. He's been playing out of his mind lately and I think it'd be enough for him to win it this season, even if his numbers goes down when Swagbrook comes back. You can add the fact that voters want to spread the award aswell.

Dude really say Aldridge and LeBron are tied in the MVP race? :oldlol:

Yeah, troll confirmed. I think its best if we ignore his posts from now on. Don't feed him.

Durant is the best and nobody is even close right now. Barring any injury Durant will have his 1st MVP locked up.

Chris Paul's impact on the Clippers' entire roster is greater than LMA's impact on Portland.

Last I checked, CP3 is still averaging 19ppg, 11apg, 4rpg, and 2spg. Before he got injured, he was in the conversation of winning the MVP Award, especially when he was on that streak of double-doubles.

Curry has been playing out of his mind lately, his season stats are similar to Paul except for more points and a bit less assists.

Harden is Harden, 3rd best scorer in the league, walking 20-6-6, not much to argue.

Hibbert is the best defensive anchor in the league and has lead the league's best defense.

Then there's LMA...

So there isn't much to complain, be happy I even remembered to put his name down, it's not like people want to watch team that's full of fragile losers.

1) Durant
2) LeBron
3) George
4) Curry
5) Paul (injury hurting him)
6) Parker
7) Dwight
8) Aldridge
9) Blake
10) Hibbert

Blake is going to continue to climb the charts if he keeps up his current play. Og15 at realgm put these stats on a thread:

Last twenty games:
24.4 PPG / 9.7 RPG / 3.8 APG / 1.3 SPG / 3.1 TOV / 51.7% FG / 77.2% FT / .597 TS% / 114 Ortg / 35.8 MPG

Without Paul (34.9 MPG):
24.4 PPG / 7.9 RPG / 4.9 APG / 2.0 SPG / 2.7 TOV / 53.3% FG / 76.3% FT / .618 TS% / 120 Ortg

no pun intended

I wouldn't put Howard that high and im a Rockets fan. I'd put him around 7-8. He's been great thus far but he's not top 3

He's been having monster games, he's been playing better then Paul, Curry, George, and Aldridge. These are just daily rankings. The fact that Curry didn't have a game tonight hurt his ranking.

george is leading his team to the best record in the nba meanwhile the combined forces of harden and dwight are nearly 5 games back. aldridge is leading his team to a top 3 seed while paul is a non-factor due to injury and curry is merely leading his team to the 6th seed out west.

all in all mvp by definition is the most valuable player on the most valuable team. that's how rose won it, it's how lebron won it, and it's gonna be true to form this year as well.

The blowout lost tonight was bad for George, he wins another game he'll be back in the Top 3.

that stat line isn't anything amazing. stealing rebounds from his team so he basically got his averages
