He's on pace for zero rings, so no.

His total of zero rings and MVPs points to that.

Maybe the GOAT scorer, but surpassing Jordan? No

He's surpassed Lebron already and he's only 25. He's on pace to having the GOAT regular season so I'd say he's well on his way.

Durant > MJ, Kareem, Russell, Bird, Shaq, Magic, Wilt...

Not a chance...although he might end up having the GOAT regular season if his season continues and he wins a title/FMVP

No. He is on pace to be a scoring machine. But GOAT? Nope

Durant isn't as old as Jordan was when he won his first ring. It's impossible to predict things like this but if OKC can win some back to back titles this thread could have relevance.

He first has to have his years of stat padding like all the other all time greats then he can worry about rings. If he stays on schedule his 1st ring should come when he's about 27/28 years old.

Let's pump our brakes now guys!! In terms of being the greatest scorer, I can see that. Flat out the GOAT? Way too early to tell. U gotta get in that ring hunt to even sniff GOAT. Until he gets on pace for that, then its premature to bring him up GOAT wise. GOAT scorer is a more legit argument at this point. That's what he's more on pace for. With the way he can stroke the three ball, he can get up that chart quick as hell. KD can dominate a game being a prolific shooter just like Bird, Dirk, Ray, West, etc. So that should be good in terms of how he ages if he can avoid the shit a guy like Bird went through. Bird should have easily been around 30,000 points if it wasn't for that bad back. And even higher cause Bird's game in general was made to age great in terms of scoring.

Durant is better than Jordan by miles. Durant is the GOAT.
