I think I knew her for a good 5 years before I ever told her I liked her, that's how pathetic it was. It never went anywhere and I still rue over the chances I wasted all those years she was close to me. Now we're both married and she lives in Idaho and I get a Christmas card from her or say hello on facebook once in a while.

Second was actually with a married woman (I was young, dumb, and full of... yeah). It was pretty awkward but thankfully that was the last of my awkward love phase. :lol We're still in touch but as acquaintances.

Third was a 19 year old Latina (I was 26 at the time). I think at the end it was just puppy love but damn was it intense. It ended badly because of her immaturity and my impatience. We never talked again but I've heard through other people that she's happily married.

Last one was the creative, adventurous, honest, and kind soul that I was looking for my whole life but just didn't know it. We've had a ton of great memories together, and after a couple of years of living together, while we've had big fights, never anything that lingered. Couldn't be happier. Needless to say that's my wife I'm talking about.

This is all of course not counting any true bromances along the way.
