You will have understood from their family names that their ancestors at least have the same roots... Pekovic pronounces himself as a Serb, Vucevic probably the same, while Dragic's father is Serbian (just like the late Drazen Petrovic's father).

Saric is a far more talented player than Teletovic, that's for sure.

Saric's father (a Serb from Croatia) was playing alongside Drazen Petrovic, he was a sweet shooting small forward in the early 80s.

While he is very talented, there are concerns about Saric's lenght and position in the NBA. He is very good at everything, but doesn't have a key asset to impose himself in the NBA.

I think that the European game better suits a super-intelligent point forward like him (6-10) than the NBA.

The Croat Bogdanovic (Bojan) is currently better than the Serbian (Bogdan) Bogdanovic, but the latter's game is better suited for the NBA since he is more athletic.

For both it will be crucial to land in the best possible position, so that they can get minutes and touches, since they are both scorers.

If I were Bojan Bogdanovic, I'd stay in Europe and be king, because everybody will be looking at his defensive weaknesses (can't guard 4's, too slow to guard wings), while he is a phenomenal scorer.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, meanwhile, is very athletic for a European player, great shooter and can play SG and F. But him too has a long way to go in defense, where he has a higher ceiling (6-6, 7-2 wingspan).

I reckon Croatia's Mario Hezonja will be better than both of them, if he can stay healthy...
