Tonight's game between Dallas and Phoenix is huge. I think it has the most overall implications: If Dallas wins, they clinch a spot and Phoenix would have to beat Memphis and Sacramento and Memphis would have to also lose to either Dallas or the Lakers for Phoenix to get in over Memphis.

If Phoenix wins tonight, they would be a game up on Dallas and own the tiebreaker, so they would only have to win one of the games against Memphis or Sacramento to get in ahead of Dallas. If it ended in a three way tie because Memphis beat Phoenix but lost to Dallas, then Memphis would be out because their overall record against the other 2 teams would be the worst.

To sum it up, it is highly likely that if Phoenix loses tonight, they are out. If they win, they are almost certainly in, even if they lose to Memphis, and the game between Memphis and Dallas will decide who is out.

No, if the Grizzlies win out we get the 8th seed.

We definitely have a better chance against the Thunder...very little chance to do anything against either, but whatever chance we do have....pretty much does not exist against the Spurs.

They would probably beat us without one of either Parker or Duncan...they are that good and matchup too well against us.

We matchup decently against the Thunder...although obviously it could be a terribly one sided series.

Doesn't matter though...it's all gravy...we are a really good team with a chance to make some improvements in the off season and hopefully be a threat next year and the year after assuming Dirk doesn't dip that much.
