I think so.

Let Durant DOMINATE games, be #1 Nd 2 option.

People lie. Numbers don't. 7 in a row.

Lol.

TEAM.

West brooks d is only thing taking away from the team.

Having Durant get more looks than westbrooks, at times , horrible shots is better for offense. Period.

OMG KD 54 POINTS THOUGH CLEARLY WESTBROOK WAS HOLDING HIM BACK

:facepalm clearly this guy didn't watch the playoffs. The Grizz dismantled the no-Brook Thunder.

GOATbrook has become a much better passer these last 2 seasons, he's shooting less and focusing more on defense and getting KD better looks, though he still takes some ill-advised shots. But in no way does he make this team worse. Out the 25 games he's played this season, 13 of them he had 7+ assists, including 6 with 10+.

What is their record without him this year???

Anybody??

Durant is BY far best offensive player in league. Westbrook takes away from that.

All I'm typing. Rest of team fills their roles perfectly without Westbrook.

What is their record since he went out???

its because they havent figured out how to win w/o westbrook. in fact even the start of the season, they didnt. Durant just didnt trust his teammates until recently.

IMO they are the same w/o or with westbrook but they would be better if westbrook learns to defer to durant. Hopefully this stretch would make him realize that durant is capable of attempting more and its also good for his health

will have 0 sustained scoring in the playoffs without westbrook.

Nah, Durants been on a tear but in the playoffs where defense goes up another level he will need Westbrook

Current OKC is pretty much the LeBron Cavs. Regular season warriors but when it's time for defenses to clamp down, the lack of offensive options will kill them.

What's OKC s record without him since he went out?????

That's irrelevent. OKC will need Westbrook come playoff time. When Durant goes cold who do you rather have take the shots, Westbrook or Reggie Jackson?

I think the fact that they're all learning how to play, and how to feel confident without him is making them much better very quickly. They're gonna be a pretty damn scary team when he does come back...But no, in the long term they definitely wouldn't be more successful without him. In fact, they'd probably have zero chance at a title.

westbrook is a freak athlete. as much as he chucks, hes still considered a top 10 player when healthy. i dont see how he would be detrimental to okc :confusedshrug: grizzlies gave the no westbrook thunder an ass whoppin

During the regular season? They can get away with it, they sure would win more games with Russell but yea....

But in playoffs, nah... they will need him like hell...

Just before he departed from the action this season he was a Top 5 MVP.... you cant just be a better team without that....

Foster5k

First round exit with Westbrook.

BuffaloBill
01-26-2014, 10:04 AM
No. They are 15-6 without Westbrook and 22-4 with Westbrook, who wasn't even 100%.

If this team has a healthy Westbrook, Durant, and Ibaka they are damn near unstoppable.

I'm not ready to say that they are a better team without WB but pointing to one playoff series doesn't mean KD can't perform in the playoffs.

I think the Thunder could put RWs salary to better use and become a better team without him though honestly. A pg that doesn't look to score as much as passes more would suit the team better imho.

One playoff series doesn't change the fact that KD is a better scorer than RW and is the best scorer in the league.

OKC can't win without Westbrook. They are just good regular season team without him. They lack the next gear for the PO.

you can argue this in the regular season just because durant is getting more touches and can beat lower-tier teams but in the playoffs....without westbrook the thunder are going nowhere

You are all kinds of stupid. Like truly retarded. So much so that I wouldn't be surprise if you're actually some sort of mild endangerment to society by simply being alive.

OKC is 13-6 without Westbrook this year and 22-4 with him. They also had win streaks of 8 games and 9 games when he was healthy. Given your condition, I'll help you out:

22-4 is better than 13-6 and 8 straight and 9 straight wins is better than 7 straight wins.

Durant is better without Westbrook. However OKC wont make it past the second round without Westbrook.

lol not sure if serious. Sadly I think you are serious, which to confirm makes you a dumbfvck :lol

If ppl wanna see stats, Durant would play like Lebron against the Magic in 2009 series. Sick stats, lose to inferior team.
