How does he NOT make the all-star reserve? The dude has been playing like a top 10 player this season. How in the world do coaches not see that?

I feel for Pelicans fans. Dragic got snubbed too, probably the worst AS snub in the modern era :banghead: :rant

Put Davis on the east team

Dragic and Davis definitely deserved to be all-stars this year
he'll make it as a replacement. no worries

So did Lowry. Only reason I can think that Davis missed out is that time he missed from injury.

Dragic should be in before Davis. The Suns have beat elite teams and are 10 games over .500 in the West.

For the ASG?
I am absolutely pissed davis didn't get in. He fits the all star game so much more than tony Parker too.
Lowry got robbed as well.

no pun intended

Davis is a likely replacement for Kobe. If not, then we can ultimately declare him as a snub.

Because people are idiots who for some reason overrate guards and wing players in general while they underrate big men.

Who would you take off the team? The thing about the western conference all stars is that they all play on a team that actually wins unlike Davis. He's a great player but who would you disrespect by picking him over?

Lol I wasn't intending it that way. I was just talking about in general, but yes it applies to Kobe and Shaq as well. Big men get less hype because they are less fan pleasing while wing players get more hype because they are sexy, so the fans get brainwashed and believe that non sense. A prime example is how so many people call Irving a star and even superstar when he is nowhere near such levels...but hey he is a sexy flashy player so it must mean he is good.

AD getting snubbed is straight up BULL. I would of been fine with him being a starter. Either way he got robbed point blank.

You can't be a snub if everyone was deserving over you.

Cry more, durant didn't make it his 2nd year averaging 26/7/3 on 48/40/88 58 TS%

Demarcus Cousins also didn't make it.
The West is going to have snubs, period. There's no avoiding it. What' REALLY shocking is Kyle Lowry getting snubbed for the JV team.
If possible, I would hand wrap Tony Parker's all-star selection and give it to AD. TP probably doesn't even want to be there. I guess someone on the Spurs had to be there and Duncan wasn't worthy this year. Does it have to be a guard who takes Kobe's spot?
It's alright though. Once he gets some decent talent around him Anthony Davis will be an MVP candidate for the better half of the next decade.

Anthony Davis has better stats than that, and his team is better than the Thunder were that year. Before Davis this year, the last person to average 20ppg, 10rpg and 3bpg was Shaq in 99-00. In fact only 7 players in NBA history have ever done it (Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Mourning, Ewing, McAdoo, Lanier).
Anyway, I expect that Davis will take Kobe's spot, so this won't matter much in the end.

Davis: 20ppg/10.5rpg/1.4apg/3.3bpg/1.5spg on 52%
He's got the 20/10 then you have 3.3bpg... 1.5spg... insane defensive numbers and ability.

Stats aren't everything, especially on a lottery team.
You often see how important a player is when he is injured and New Orleans' record was 4-5 against tough opponents when Davis was injured. I'm including the game where Davis only played 10 min.
They are 15-21 when he plays.

Kings 0-6 without DMC (one of those was the Houston game where he was injured in the first)
