He can't even let his bench guy gun for that triple double? Has to put in 0pt Beverley? (although by the box score it looks like Beverley is having a very solid game besides the scoring). Just needed a board and 2 assists.

Beverley is having a very solid game as well, impact wise, but there's really no excuse to taking Lin out for that, especially when even Casspi was in. It should have been Beverley and Lin with Harden in at the 3.

You don't have to love every player on your team.

I like Houston, but I hate Harden.

I'm a Lakers fan (have been since the Magic days) and I hated Kobe for years.

Well... you can acknowledge Harden is incredible (offensively) right? Or that Kobe was extremely good even if he was a ballhogging chucker sometimes?

Lin gets a triple double? Then triple doubles aren't that impressive.
Lin shut down ____? That guy had an off night.
Lin went off on ____? It was just bad defense.

That's the kind of **** you see from haters on opposing teams, not fans of the same team. I've hated players on my team, whether for sucking or being a bonehead but I give them due credit the times they do play well.

Yeah...I acknowledge their strengths.

But I just hate chuckers who don't share the rock. At least Kobe played D and still tried to in his later years. Harden is 19 years old and plays D like an old man.

Because those saying Stephenson got robbed cause he led the team in triple doubles.

A Rondo triple double, that is something to be proud of.

A ___, 10, 10... good game but its usually someone going out of their way to get an assist like Stephenson does. Thats why Vogel pulls him.

Dragic puts Houston at 1st seed. That's it, I've heard everything. :oldlol:

I'm sorry, but your basketball knowledge is terribly suspect if you truly think Dragic takes this team from what they are now to a 1st seed OVER OKC.

Anyway, clearly you missed the point of my post. You said you'd take Dragic over Lin ANYDAY. I said I'd take Lin over Dragic for TODAY. Think about it.

Just finished watching the Rockets replay. That was a really nice gesture by James Harden. He called the last play to set up the Lin-Howard pick and roll which eventually lead to Lins 10th assist.

One being that he's OUR star now, who has returned home.
and two no one would recognize his skills cos Harden would play keep away from him.

Isn't it an issue that in the two places he's played, he's much better when the star is out? Not as in, he comes off the bench when they are sitting and plays well, he plays much better when they are hurt and don't play at all?

Because ultimately Harden will be in there...

Harden played tonight, and played starter minutes. Jeremy still got his. Jeremy's game only suffers if he plays off-ball and turns into a spot up shooter.

Tonight Harden hardly iso'd at all and they actually ran him around some screens to get open looks.

As long as Rockets keep playing Nash Suns basketball when Dwight is sitting, every player has the chance to put up some solid stats every night.

I think after half a season in New York, one full season in Houston and this season, it's well establish now that he's only starter material/6th man. Not an All-Star, not a franchise player, not a superstar. But also not a scrub as many would call him.

He's a third tier PG that just happens to have a lot of fanfare due to his race and ethnicity so he gets overrated or extremely hated on because of his fans.
