Playing against Aaron Gray and a bunch of undersized PF's (Landry/Acy/Derrick Williams)normally means you put up massive numbers in particular when your as skilled/good/big as Duncan.

Has to step up with Manu, Leonard, Green all injured. Hope he doesn't get burned out - 33 mins - 5 more than his normal.

Still the best Tim Duncan in the league

Looked up his game log, and before last game, he had a stretch of 13 games dropping 16/11 on 54.7% from the field with 2 blocks a game. What a boss.

I love how those old players I grew up watching are still getting it done. Duncan and Dirk are awesome...Nowitzki in his last 3 games averaged 33/10 on 60/45/100 shooting. I hope both will play till they're 40. As talented as guys like Griffin, Aldridge and so on are...there's just a big gap to those all time legends. Will suck when they retire.

Top 8 is a lock tbh. He's pretty much done more with less than any other top 10 player, with the slight exception of Hakeem, if you think he's top 10, that is.

He probably has Patrick Ewing and Willis Reed over Duncan and Shaq.

Whatever, top 12 then...

Because I seriously don't believe that you believe there are 11-12 players in NBA history who you'd build around before Tim Duncan. :confusedshrug:

Me neither. Greatest PF of all time, there's only a handful I would take over Tim Duncan.

I got a lot of respect for Tim Duncan but i really hate how so much attention is paid to rankings. Frankly speaking I don't think there is much that separated the top 20-30 players and over time there are a number of players that dont really have a ranking. For example where is a guy like Miken or Petit ranked on these lists. Heck there are a lot of forgotten names from the 70's, 80's and now in the 90's that get overlooked by more current stars. So i don't think it is disrespectful to say TD is outside the top 10 from that perspective.

He's an Allen Iverson fanboy which says enough about his credibility(or lack thereof). Thinks career losers like AI, Carmelo, Ewing are all better than TD. Best to ignore the moron.

Thinks Melo is also a better player than Dirk.

And you consider a shitty player like Iverson as one of those legends.

Iverson isnt a loser, check his stats and old videos. Ewing would of been hakeem or better if it werent for starks and his leg injury in 99, and yes Melo iz a better player than dirk.

Can he save those points and add them to bad shooting nights in case he's turning into rich man's J.R. in the playoffs once again?

Seriously, Melo is very good. But if you look at his playoff performances, he's literally giving you Dirk's production on inferior efficiency and with less rebounds. What is he doing better than Nowitzki in the postseason? He was having three runs in Denver that are comparable to some of Dirk's, but since he's in NY, his playoff performances are pretty much like the postseason version of Jerry Stackhouse dropping 30 a game in 2000.

And if Nowitzki was on the Knicks instead and won a ring while Melo chucks away in Dallas, you'd constantly suck on his balls and tell us how he's better than Anthony.

I don't need to check his stats and videos. Unlike you, I was old enough to watch him play. Iverson was a cancerous chucker that never took a shot he didn't like. By far the most harmful player the league has ever seen - Inluenced a whole generation of chuckers that want to play losing basketball.

Ewing would of been hakeem or better if it werent for starks

Ewing didn't lose because of Starks :oldlol: Ewing lost because Hakeem straight up outplayed him. This isn't anything like Shaq losing to Hakeem despite posting beast stats(28/12./6). Ewing averaged 18 ppg on 36%. How the hell do you put the blame on a role player when your star is shooting that badly.

and his leg injury in 99,

Woudn't have made a difference in '99.

and yes Melo iz a better player than dirk.

Nope.

whoa! now you sound real dumb:biggums: I most definitely was old enough to see iverson aka one of my favorite players of all time play, I remember his damn rookie season when he was doing wilt records like scoring 50 point and 40 point games. Explain 2001 to me, explain how he was able to score at 6'0, being a SG with over 20 injures and being skinny at dat. Iverson never had that complete team that he needed to win a ring, NEVER, pound for pound without practice he was tha best and u kno dat shit:no:

In tha last two games, how many shots starks missed? If starks made that last shot then knicks would of been champs, meaning ewing would of been mvp and better than hakeem. I rest my damn case:coleman:

On low efficiency most of the time.

Explain 2001 to me,

Played on one of the best defensive teams in the league. Competition was horrible in the East. Sixers just happened to be the only good team from that pool of shit known as the Leastern Conference.

explain how he was able to score at 6'0, being a SG with over 20 injures and being skinny at dat.

He has talent - there's no denying that. But his terrible shot selection combined with his low IQ held him back from becoming a better player.

Iverson never had that complete team that he needed to win a ring, NEVER, pound for pound without practice he was tha best and u kno dat shit:no:

Yes, let's all prop up a player that never bothered to work on his shortcomings, was notorious for skipping practice/training sessions, refused to listen to any of his coaches and ended up getting blackballed from the league.

Starks scored 27 pts on 50% in game 6. Ewing was 17 pts on 30% that same game.

Maybe if Ewing wasn't so shitty in game 6(or throughout most of the series) the Knicks would not have needed to rely on a final shot from Starks to win them the damn championship. Scapegoating a role player when your star was so crappy throughout that series. :facepalm
