And this is why Portland isn't for real. They play no defense. It's disgusting really. If they could play anywhere near the defense Memphis plays then they'd be legit contenders. Looks like we're going to have to make some big time signing in the off season.

I've never seen Matthews abuse a player in the post more than he's abused Beal tonight. On the other end Beal gets easy open shots off simple screens. It's amazing how bad Portland's defense is on pick and role.

Joel Freeland is a f*cking embarrassment. He went right back to being a super scrub after showing improvement this from last year. This game is over. No way Portland comes back with Mo Williams chucking 1 on 5 shots in transition and Batum trying to throw bounce passes into a crowd.

Making it to the second round would be a victory for this season. We still need to look for another shooting guard and small forward. Matthews and Batum are good players but one of them has to come off the bench. I don't see them being the starters on a championship team.

I honestly don't know. We're in a tough spot. Need to keep McCollum.. but the rest have practically no trade value.. so honestly.. I don't know. Then again, I'm not a GM.

Blazers tried to get better too fast because Aldridge did not like losing. So instead of tanking it one more year and getting a lottery pick in a great draft we brought in a decent bench to make us slightly above average.

Aldridge definitely failed to look at the long run. Either way, we'll get better next year if we can make some big signings in the summer. We need one more key player and a defensive coach. This team will never compete with this defense.

We have enough rookies. Mo is not consistent at all. Dorell is a non factor. Earl Watson who?

Useless trio..add Myers and Freeland and bam. This bench is not much better than last year..which really doesn't mean much to this team.

I would actually like to keep CJ and TRob around. TRob as dumb a player he is brings some much needed energy to the team. CJ can still prove to be a decent player with time.

I remember reading some rumors about a Tyson Chandler trade a while back. Hope FO does something..Anything. All the other teams are making smart moves to make their teams better while ours has done nothing so far

I don't know if we traded our first round pick this year but you are only in the lottery if you miss the playoffs. Still, barely missing the playoffs wouldn't help us win the lottery. Teams closest to being an 8th seed have the worst chance of moving up in the lottery. Portland would have to be a bottom 6 team to get a good pick this year.
