Injuries are robbing us of all time great, Wade has still got to be one of the more fun players in the league to watch. I'm hoping his knees get better so we can see him in more games, but if not I'd rather see him perform consistently well in the playoffs.

Lebron is lucky to play with such a special player, such an alpha. Compliments Lebron's mentality perfectly. I don't blame Lebron for joining up with him.

Wade will always be my favorite player. If he's healthy for the playoffs, I'm a lot more confident they can 3-peat.

My only gripe about Wade is if he doesn't get calls he bitches to the refs and doesn't get back on defense.

Obviously he's talking about the current crop of 2 guards. It's an abysmal group to say the least. Whenever you can say a wildly inconsistent, unreliable player like Wade is at least top 3 at his position you know the position is rather weak. Not to mention having a player such as Harden, who may be one of the worst defenders in recent memory, being referred to as one of the top players at the position.

LeBron is probably the best thing to ever happen to the Heat. LeBron is mostly responsible for the two recent titles as well as vaulting the Heat to the top of the most popular/provocative teams in sports. Wade has done great things for the franchise but his impact on the last two championship teams pales in comparison to James' impact.

Yup. That's why a 34 yrs.old Kobe was the best Sg in the NBA last year. If he didn't get injured. He's still a top 2 Sg in the NBA.

I'm waiting for the bad game that Wade gets and a new thread saying "He's washed up and done."
Anyway, he has been playing well for most of the games he played. All that matters is the playoffs tho. I don't think it'll be much difficult than years past for the Heat to win a championship this year without Wade being healthy. I don't think we'll see him score 24 ppg or anything, but he is capable of 20-22 if he gets the shot attempts.

So you think that Lebron chooses Miami in 2010 if we drafted Darko instead? Or one of the many good yet not really elite players in that draft class? We lucked out
No Wade in miami = Bran is a knick or bull or piston for all we know.

Wade attempted two less shots than Bron today, and scored 6 more points. That = ballhog ? What are you talking about? Wade plays far more often off the ball than Bron, and his timing on cuts and in general how he reads the game is amazing.
Bron on the other hand loves pounding the ball at the top of the key for 10-15 seconds every shot clock.

Last two years I had a gripe with him not focusing or committing on defense, but hes stopped complaining about calls now, and he gets back on defense. Hes actually become a terrific man to man defender. Something he wasn't great at prior in his career. Now he is seriously one of the best in the league.

Both of those assertions about both players are wrong. Bron is one of the best players on the team as far as ball movement, and Wade is probably the furthest thing from a ballhog considering he lets players like Beasley and Cole get in their groove when its just him out their with the role players.

I hope we see this Wade in the playoffs. I still pick Miami over the Pacers because of their championship experience and Miami elevates their level of play in the post season.
We haven't seen Beasley and Oden against Indiana. Miami vs. Indiana would be one of the best playoffs series of all time.

Wade aint no ballhog just like bron aint one. all im saying is everytime Wade hits some shots and LeBron lets him take over he becomes a bit of a ball stopper and often settles for jumpers. but its all good if Wade just plays like the last two games in the playoffs no complaints will be heard.
he had plenty of rest and should be good for the playoffs this time

Back to back Finals MVP. 2012 and 2013 wade was a good secondary option just like early 1990's Pippen.
His numbers regressed against the spurs because he was playing hurt in the playoffs. I think he only averaged 15.9 ppg in the 2013 NBA Playoffs.
I don't think 32 yrs.old Wade deserves a max contract. I am sure Lebron is gonna take another pay cut because he's one of the richest athletes in the world. At this stage of his current NBA Career I think he's still a solid 2nd scoring option in the current NBA.

I dislike him as a person, but this season he's really impressed me. His mid-range is money, and apart from a few games, he dominated on both ends of the floor. His impact has been tremendous, and his team stats clearly indicate that.

I'd rather appreciate a healthy 05-11 Wade than this shadow of his former self. 09 Wade honestly reached a level very few perimeter players have ever reached, and it's a shame that he can only draw out flashes of that at a time after sitting out multiple games.
