NBA refs also have to make tougher calls. they have to officiate shaq and lebron differently as compared to other players who can't take that much contact and still finish.
they also have to call illegal screens, flops, 3 sec calls etc. if they started calling everything then game would slow down and last 4 hours.
the only thing i am in favor of is giving 3 challenges per team for the game. If you get it wrong then you lose a challenge. This will not happen though as guy like JVG are in majority and they like it how it was back in the 80s and 90s without realizing that there is more scrutiny and things like youtube and twitter exist now.
