The Game - 1997 - Michael Douglass gets caught up in a live action game (given to him by his brother as a gift) and he doesn't know whether it is real or not
Donnie Brasco - 1997 - Johnny Depp plays an undercover FBI agent and infiltrates the family of Al Pacino's character
Ghost Dog - 1999 - Forrest Whitaker plays a hitman that lives by the code of the samurai
Downfall - 2004 - German subtitled film about Hitler's last days (it spawned that meme where he gets angry about random events - but the film is excellent)

This was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I actually think I may have made a thread about it here after watching it for the first time a while back. Just an unbelievably trite and cliche 'thriller'. Sean Penn is always on point but he didn't have a lot screen time and every scene he wasn't in was laughably bad.

This is one of those 'stupid comedies' that legit cracks you up. Basically a poor man's dumb and dumber. But not even that poor cause the movie really was funny.

Why this specific ten year period?
don't want too old movies n too new... plus there aren't alot of good movies that came out after 05 and i've seen plenty of them. 90's and early 00's were the shit...
