From all reports Kyrie is a great kid but maybe he's just not a strong leader at all. I was actually hoping Deng would provide some of that leadership role. Hell, maybe that's what he's trying to do by airing this out through a "close friend".

several Cavaliers allegedly hung out late into the night with Iman Shumpert, JR Smith and San Francisco 49ers QB, Colin Kaepernick.

Hanging out late into the night? Not a big deal.

Hanging out with JR Smith? Minimum 25 game suspension.

Pretty sure they got blown out in NY too following that. Is this a reaction to the Decision and the Cavs are now just spoiling the players so they don't leave, or has it always been like this? This is pathetic.

It was always like that. No backbone or structure.

I know this, because when LBJ came to Miami, there were many reports down here in Miami that Pat Riley had to be strict with LeBron and LeBron didn't like it. For example, on one occasion LBJ wanted to go out partying with Wade the night before a big game, and Wade was like naww we can't do that, and then LBJ told Pat and Pat said no, you go to your hotel room right now and rest. Apparently, LBJ didn't like that, and was surprised.

LBJ was used to never hearing no in Cleveland, and I think that HURT LBJ more than helped him. He needed someone to tell him no, and discipline him. Being in Miami was the best thing for LeBron.

They need someone who will come in and kick some ass. Patrick Ewing would be great :oldlol:

Wizards waited to long to dump our knuckleheads. Cavs need to do it now before these guys lose all their value like nick young or Jcraw

yeah thats true. LBJ cried about all of the rules in Miami on the players.

but seriously if you remember LBJ Cav's, those guys would be doing dances and all kinds of stupid crap on the sidelines like they had zero discipline.

thats Mike Brown for you tho. Every star player he's ever coached has walked all over him and he tends to roll out the red carpet while they step on him.

I bet Anthony Bennett doesn't do laundry very often. I could definitely see him being the guy in the locker room who everyone hates being around because of it.

They need someone like David West, a guy who can knock almost anyone into shape. Veteran leadership means so much more than we think.

Can we get one player over 28 who speaks english? Deng isn't much in the way of a leader either, very quiet it seems.

Deng is a leader. He's just not so high on himself that he can start aggressively running the show a month in.

Absolutely. I do think they need someone else to provide veteran leadership as well. Deng isn't that invested in this team since he can just sign elsewhere at the end of the season.

This has got to be something that's coming from higher up though. Deng talked about the Bulls organization being very different, that's been like that before Thibs came here. It's thge Cavs organization that's at fault in my opinion, and they need to change their attitude top to bottom.

These kids need to grow up and take their jobs seriously, throwing all your toys out of the pram like taking your gear off at halftime is just childish. Good they are so spoilt that they dont understand how lucky they are to be playing in the NBA :facepalm

No ****.

Again though, these kids all started playing in Cleveland at a very young age. It's somewhat understandable, which is why I fault the organization in general for tolerating this type of behavior.
