The truth hurts most of the time.
Just look at him, yeah sure, it's kinda badass, but a psychologist would argue that he's demotivated, he's depressed, and guess why? 2013 finals. Sorry but that's the truth.

Last time I checked the biggest Finals chokejob by a superstar award was presented to LeBron,
He was outperfromed by Jason Terry,
Defended by Marion and Diaw who did a good job on him,
bailed out by Ray Allen in game 6,
only superstar that was left wide open to shoot on purpose

So you'll be saying the same shit about Lebron this year when he misses a layup/shot in the ECF against Indiana?

Those who are sprouting this nonsense about "badass" and "being a boss", look closer.
Just look at the guy, I almost feel sorry for him. But like BlazerRed said, he's a multiple time champion and fmvp and mvp, so it's alright at least.
But you're blind if you don't see the lack of heart in that clip.

How exactly was he "bailed out" by LeBron? The last time I checked, LeBron was the one who brought the Heat back into the game (7-10 for 16 points).
Also, you should stop responding to that guy. He's retarded.

The same night as that gif he outplayed Anthony Davis on the way to a win. TD put up 21 pts, 7 rebs, 6 blks on 50% (in only 29 mins) while AD averaged 17 pts, 16 rebs, 4 blks on 28% in 44 mins.

Again, I'm not taking anything at all away from Duncan. He's a champion and an absolute BEAST even at his age. The fact that Kobe is now hanging it up while Duncan is still hunting with the young lions shows how much of a great player Duncan is.

You're getting a lot of hate for this post, but I must say it must be incredibly difficult for someone that late in their career like Duncan or Peyton to get that close and lose. I find it hard to believe it doesn't take something out of them.

Ray had 0 points in game 7, played horribly in game 6 outside of the big shot he made, but apart from that was decent.
Bron on the other hand was clutch in game 6, bringing the game back to the point of winnable, hit the 3 before hand, then had an all time great game 7, along with the game sealing shot. Not to mention was on the end of just about any good run that we had in the series. Sure he had his bad games, but he was the reason for just about all of the good.
Ray had one big moment, compared to quite a few Lebron ones.
Whatever... its not a big deal.

I always hear this, but it's amusing how an already proven champion with a FMVP and 4 MVPs needed his legacy 'saving'.
Allen's shot was huge - arguably the biggest and best in history - but LeBron would have gone down as an all time great regardless and is still playing in his prime. It would be more accurate to say 'legacy enhancer', but let's not indulge in absurd hyperbole with 'legacy saver'.

He missed one layup, first of all, so stop lying.
Secondly, missing one shot is not choking. Duncan had 24 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block in game 7. He played a very good game.
Parker, who went 3 for 12, choked. Danny Green, he made just one bucket, choked. Duncan did not choke.
And I don't care what people would say. LeBron would not have choked had he missed one shot either.

He had a bad year overall. Ugly divorce, wife was cheating on him and used HIS money to buy her lover a gym, choking Game 6 away (he was on the bench, it's not his fault they lost that game), losing Game 7, though he missed a layup it wouldn't have won the game. Then gets outed by his ex-wife. Give the man a break.

Duncan had 54 points and 29 rebounds in the last 2 games, meanwhile Parker goes 9 of 35 and Danny Green couldn't even find the rim. But let's put it all on him for missing ONE shot, while others were busy bricking and turning the ball over (I'm looking at you, MANU!!!).
