Anybody who has a true love for basketball will appreciate what this beautiful son of a bitch is doing right now. He's just plain owning guys at 37 years old... soon to be 38 years old. It's all the more impressive when you see KG's corpse decaying as we speak.

Parker with 4 points. Embarrassing considering he's supposed to be in his prime. Guess he's in playoff mode tonight.

F*ck you. Why can't you just make a Duncan thread without trying to start shit with KG fans?

Tim Duncan will be the leader of this Spurs team as long as he is playing there :applause:

He is the humble gawd.

His humble nature makes us appreciate him all the more. In a league of Bryants and Hardens and Wades we at least have someone like Duncan who isn't a complete narcissistic piece of crap.

Dude I love KG. He's one of my favorite players of all time and I'd argue one of the most complete players of all time. It was just a joke. I'm deeply sorry if I offended you. I honestly wasn't trying to stir anything up.

I agree mate, He is one superstar who I have never doubted actually is a nice, humble down to earth guy.

Can ask what your problem with Wade is? I can guess about Bryant and harden but i find wade out of place in that group.

Can't view youtube at work, can you explain? Is it the bruce bowen defence or something similar?

Edit: Also that^ wasnt a shot at the spurs haha i just seem to recall something about Wade sliding his foot under shooters.

Wade was my favorite player from his junior year in college until about at least the end of 2010. So about 2002-2010. Around this time he started to become very annoying... some would say douchy. Whether it is him flopping all over the place, not getting back on defense, calling out the Bulls for not being loyal to former players (which I refuted in the past), mocking dirk and so on. During the last 3-4 seasons he's really changed his playing personality.

Assuming he can keep it up the rest of the season, Duncan will be the only 37-year old in NBA history to average 10 rebounds per game besides Robert Parish.

I really wanted to see him win a championship last season. Hope he gets another one this season. Next to the Bulls the Spurs are my favorite team.

Tim Duncan is incredibly impressive. There was a moment on ISH when people were questioning his longevity but you really have to tip your hat to this guy.

Those people should be hanged, drawn and quartered. Duncan's longevity is astounding, almost as glorious as his peak.

Well that sucks. I'm sure Duncan will inspire his teammates to win this game though. He is a great leader in the same vain as Phil Jackson, Magic Johnson and World War II general George S. Patton.

Don't bring that up! Let's take a game where Parker goes out hurt and use that to judge his play. Sounds reasonable!

He's been the 3rd best player on the team this year. it's his own fault he's tired. Dumbass was playing for France over the summer while Duncan and Ginobili were resting up for the season.

Unbelievable.

Pop deserves at least some of the credit for this, too. He has done a brilliant job of managing Timmy's minutes throughout his career.

In any case...

He's playing too many minutes - should be averaging 28 a game. Hope he has some gas left for the playoffs.

:biggums:

It's pretty relevant to include that considering how old these guys are, then take a look at KG, Allen, Nash, Pau, etc.
