After watching tonight's game with blazers vs knicks, I personally think that Carmelo Anthony wins this title. What NBA superstar do you think that gets the least amount of superstar treatment?

Durant, he doesn't flop or complain enough

a lot of the big guys don't get the star treatment, duncan gets hacked a lot too and didn't get all the calls.
a lot of melo fans point to contact they think should be fouls but in actual reality their closer to offensive fouls with the contact he creates. I think that rep has caused the refs to always assume it's him initiating even when this isn't the case.

Thats nonsense to me. There's other stars like Lebron and Harden who flops for a living, they do worse than Carmelo with their offensive moves and still gets better treatment. Even Durant gets touched slightly and goes to the line.

bad logic there, carmello doesn't have a ring because he's an inefficient player who takes any shot he looks at

your not reading what I'm writing. I am not talking about flops I am talking about Melo aggressively causing the contact at times in such a way that could be called an offensive or defensive foul depending on the whims of the refs which leads to more no calls. Lebron/Durant/harden drive and flop sometimes but when they are driving they have established where their going and the defense is moving into their space and creating the contact, melo's are usually isos where he has stopped the play with a defender on him and then barrels through them.

Watch Heat games sometimes. Why do you think LeBron is only averaging 7.5 FT's per game, while scoring a shit ton at the rim? Same with Wade.

Lebron and Wade are one of the biggest cry babies in the league, they still get calls and when they foul somebody they rarely get fouls called on them.

I am watching the games, heck, I'm watching one right now. Lebron is known to pick his spots carefully, it's to risky for him to drive guessing there may or may not be a whistle. So he takes more open drives or fast breaks.
Also, dude has to stop bitching when he doesn't get a call.

Might be Love, but at the same time it would be hard to give him the right amount of respect. The guy literally gets hacked on almost every possession as he positions himself in the perfect spots for rebounds, especially offensive, and a legit foul could be called on maybe 80% of every offensive board he gets. That's unrealistic though so idk.

He definitely does that, but look at when he drives there's arguably only a 50% chance that he might get FT's when he gets hit. Last year, he averaged only 7 FT's a game. Harden, Westbrook, KD, and a bunch of other got more calls than him. Dude used to average over 10 FT's a game.
When it comes to Wade, it's even worse. Dude is only getting ~4.5 FT's a game. It was extremely bad last year. He was literally living in the paint and never got any love from the refs. I'm glad that at least he stopped bitching about it though.
It's really hard to prove my point. If I show you the stats on where they're getting their shots, you'll say that it's mostly on fast breaks (it's not). So, unless you actually watch the game, you wouldn't know what I'm talking about. That only way to prove my point would be to rewatch all the games and make a video of all the fouls not called on them.
Also, this thread is about superstar treatment, which means that the questionable calls should go in LeBron and Wade's favor.

Ok. I see your side, I'll still think he cherry picks his spots a bit which does limit the foul calls he could get, however, I agree that Harden and co should not be right up there either.

It used to be Dirk. He still gets hit on the elbow a lot with no call, but for the most part the refs have figured it out.
