Right now I'd say yeah he's playing better than Rondo. So, he's better than anybody on your team. If you're talking about career accomplishments then that's a different conversation entirely. If you sum up BG's game as nothing but dunks then you're either blind or never watch him play and just watch highlights.

I actually havent watch that many games of BG (4-5) but every time I see him shoot with that disgusting looking form, or those god damn ugly post moves...
I can guarantee, if dude took some lessons from hakeem or someone and actually worked on his footwork, which is laughable, dude could be 30 ppg scorer.

He's improved every year he's been in the league. You should actually watch him. I don't know why everybody thinks developing post moves is something that just happens for big men. It takes time. He's expanding his entire game and not just post moves. This is what, his 3rd or 4th year actually playing? He's coming along pretty good to me. Check him out sometime. You wouldn't be disappointed.

He's really really stepped it up since CP3 went down. I can't tell you his numbers, but his overall game has increased. He just looks so comfortable out there now. I know it's gonna carry over once CP3 comes back. FYI I'm not even a BG fan.

It wasn't even true his rookie year. The fact that it's still said today 4 years later is laughable.
Anyways - shoots 41% from 16-23 feet as a power forward. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/griffbl01/shooting/2014/
Nothing left to say.

Spot on. Just because his game isn't smooth and his footwork is shoddy doesn't mean he isn't extremely skilled. People that try to pigeonhole him as simply a hyper-athletic dunker with no other skills to speak of don't understand the game.

This is very accurate.:applause: Even though he had a crazy good rookie season and has always been a very good player, he should be an MIP candidate (MVP candidate too of course) because of the level he has taken his game to since CP3's injury.

I forgot about McBob dishing out dimes this season. He's doing that late-career Larry Bird shit where he directs traffic from the elbows and top of the key and it's pretty cool.

2.2 assists David Lee? Both Gasols are averaging .1 less assists than Griffin, but the difference is irrelevant because Griffin isn't even his team's primary ball handler.

You know you're good when you have so many haters. Griffin carried a team without it's back court and no help other than Jamal Crawford against a healthy Heat team. Had CP3 or even Redick played the Clippers would most likely have won. Blake is damn good and he will be even better when he enters his prime.

I just pointed out both Gasols are averaging fewer assists than Griffin already this year. Hawes too for that matter. And this is without considering the fact that Griffin plays with Chris Paul.

ive never been a griffin fan. mainly for two reasons, his demeanor and facial expressions during games and because of clipperfan86. but id be an uneducated liar if i didnt admit that blakes game has completely reshaped since his earlier years
his free throws are looking very much improved the past few years, and this year, his jump shot is pretty consistent. soon enough, defenses will either have to play him close to stop the jumper, allowing him to get to the basket at will or play off him, allowing him those open 15-20 footers
defensively, hes trying. still can improve there. but his post game that people keep mitigating, is actually pretty good. decent foot work, but he has the ability to score with both hands down low.

I always thought he was pretty much a Lebron clone, but he looks like a rich mans Lebron now that he's having to carry the load without CP3. He's got a way better postgame, jumpshot than Lebron and more athleticism.
