I think Kevin Love has a chance, maybe Blake Griffin, and possibly Durant if he has a really big rebounding game
no pun intended

David Lee was so close...

I could see Millsap pulling it off.
Honestly, there are a lot of players who could have a really big statistical anomaly in just one game.

LaMarcus can do the 40-20 part, not too sure about the 10 tho
LeBron was two rebounds and an assist away from this in a must win playoff game.
40 pts/18 rebs/9 asts.

Kevin Love in another LOSS, not making the playoffs. Cause it's all hollow.

Anthony Davis possibly with blocks instead of assists

I think Griffin could possibly make it happen, but most likely is Lebron right now. He's actually come close to that before. In his prime, I think Shaq might've pulled that off.

Rondo if he actually tried for 40 he could probably get it.

LeBron
he has the skills and creativity to score 40 if needed
he has the athleticism, motor and intelligence needed to score 40 and jump and grab rebounds
he has the court vision/awareness and team mates needed to get the 10 assists (Ray Allen)

Wilt averaged about 50-25-10 for a whole season but blocks weren't kept as a stat back then

I'm gonna go with an under the radar pick, CJ McCollum.
I think he's got all the scoring arsenal to drop 40, the tenacity and physical tools to grab 20 boards, and if his teammates were feeling it, I think his vision could get him 10 assists. 10 steals are not out of the question either.
I could realistically see CJ getting 40-20-10-10.

I don't think Lebron is capable anymore. He's just not a good enough scorer. He relies on his athleticism to score and although he's still one of the best athletes in the NBA (was probably THE best before), he is slowing down slightly. Unless he fixes that ugly jump shot, he will find 40 point games hard to come by; he doesn't have a 40 point game this season. Also he isn't a great rebounder considering his size and athleticism. He is averaging less than 7 a game this year, with a season high of 14.
30-10-10 is more in Lebron's range now, I think the window has closed for his chance at a 40-20-10

Well, tbh, I see no chance of David Lee getting it ever again. He's way overdue now.

He's had 39 points, and 38 points games this season. One more made freethrow and he has 40.
LeBron's rebounds per game for his career in the regular season: 7.2
LeBron's rebounds per game for his career in the playoffs: 8.6
And LeBron increases his play in the playoffs, since he joined Miami, he's never really had that many great games in the regular season, just in the playoffs.
Im so nba'd out

No sign of Kobe in this thread. Too bad he can't make it within the likes of these higher tier players.

Kevin Love would be my pick.
Rondo had an 44 - 10 - 8 effort vs Miami in the playoffs a couple of years ago. He could maybe come close some day.

Also, he has never pulled down 20 in a game in his entire career and hasn't even had a 40 point game all year, plus he is slowing down. His fanboys on here are very delusional
