Im referring to this type of cheese http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feta

brined, salty, 100% cow milk, its very typical for the region, i think because of a specific bacteria that lives in the Balkans

My point is that anything that is 100% cowmilk is not authentic feta.

You were talking like you're Professor Cheese and you didn't even know what your supposed favorite kind is actually made from. :confusedshrug:

Condiments: mayo, ketchup, mustard (at least 4 varieties), horseradish, hot sauce (sriracha, chipotle, louisiana), salsa, pickles, olives, hummus, hot peppers.

Dairy: milk, eggs, cheese (parmesan, romano, mozzarella, gorgonzola, american), yogurt, butter

Produce: lettuce, cucumber, bell pepper, avocados, various seasonal veggies (I don't refrigerate tomatoes, onions, garlic or most fruit)

Meat: bacon, sliced ham/turkey, some type of roast (pork loin, whole chicken, etc.)

Frozen: pretty much anything from Trader Joes (fish, veggies, pot stickers, etc.)

Like Rezznor I keep beer and white wine in a separate bar refrigerator, red wine in the cellar. I also usually have a 12 pack of pellegrino in the bar fridge.

Milk. Because when I pour a bowl of cereal only to find I have no milk I feel like shooting myself in the face.
i recommend keeping some powdered milk for emergencies. shake it up in a jar and pour. it's only going to taste like skim, but that's still a lot better than water on cereal, god forbid. it might even help if you add a couple drops of toasted sesame oil or something like that... to substitute for the milk fat.

also for emergencies, some supermarkets have boxed milk in the dry goods section that is specially pasteurised to last for months or years.
