I don't get it, are we trying to compete this year? Or are we tanking.

It would be nice to know what the organisation is planning to do for this year..

Thibs doesn't tank.:lol

I think acquiring Crawford/Barnes is a future move though. He's slumped this year despite having the opportunity for minutes in stretches (although he was pretty solid with Iggy out)With Lee out he didn't shine though, which is weird since undersized 4 is where he was last playoffs.

EJ is long term move I think, that instantly improves the team now.

I got no problem with the bulls acquiring guys with potential, that either underachieved, are undervalued, or in EJ's case "injured" often.

All guys that I enjoy watching play the game, but at the same time I feel they each would bring a positive dynamic to the team that would improve us and help us win more meaningful games.

I'm keen on getting Harrison.

I think he's a potential number option on offense but more likely to be a 2nd option...

I think the Bulls are a perfect match for him, I really do.

Barnes is a really good asset, but might be "too good" as in when his rookie contract is up, will the Bulls give him that huge contract when they already have Noah, Rose as their "franchise" players. :confusedshrug: Do they have enough money to resign Butler?
Isn't that why they got rid of Deng, Korver, Asik? etc?
Besides, they have Dunleavy as their SF, not saying he is as good as Harrison but the MGT has been really judicious now their their budget.

It seems like the Barnes/Crawford trade is a better option. Trading Boozer for Gordon doesn't seem like it would that great. Isn't Gordon injured? Plus the Bulls wouldn't be able to go after a real big free agent this summer. They should keep Boozer until the end of the season and then amnesty him. See how Barnes works out. Then this summer sign a big free agent like Carmelo Anthony or make a move for Kevin Love.
