LeBron has the luxury of 2 other franchise caliber players who can create for themselves at a high level in Wade, Bosh, and even Ray Allen. Westbrook was injured. You shouldn't be able to be basically bad to mediocre on defense for three months of the season, turn it on in February, and win DPOY. At this point, based on how poorly he was defensively November-January, LeBron has absolutely no shot at DPOY. In fact, right now at least, it'd be somewhat comical if LeBron even got one DPOY vote although I suspect he'll get some based on reputation. DPOY is Hibbert's to lose and rightfully so.

Honestly I don't like Lebron but until he can be dethroned come June, he is still better than Durant. Durant has made crazy strides and the gap has shrunk. He has easily played as the best player in the league, and he has to prove it come playoff time. I welcome a changing of the guard. But until Bran's been dethroned, he is still the best in the league. No regular season games gonna change my mind.

Man Durant forced his thirty some points tonight and looked bad doing it. Lebron also does all the other little things that Durant doesn't do well. That's why Lebron's the best.
