I'm not American, so I'm a little clueless on these 3. Anyway, my question is, who watches their movies? How do these guys keep getting paid?

Watch Mr Brooks. Dane Cook is pretty good in that. Mostly because he plays a sleazy annoying photographer. Perfect casting really.

Dumb comedies rake in tons of money and don't cost much to produce.

I recently watched a madea movie for the first time. Holy f*cking sh*t. I was blown away.

Maya Angelou was in it. The movie touched on domestic violence, abusive relationships, and attacked how black youth tries to emulate unrealistic hip hop culture.

All this in a movie staring a guy in a woman's fat suit talking in a silly voice.

Great question...they're probably Jewish?:confusedshrug: Obviously there are a few talented Jewish comics, Howard Stern, Larry David and Woody Allen (especially his early work) but in no universe is Jon Lovitz, Adam Sandler, Tim Allen, Gary Shandling or Richard Lewis considered funny but they keep getting work. Take a wild guess on what they all have in common. Hollywood even tried pushing Pauly Shore as funny but no one bought it.

Real question is, why the hell is Dane Cook so hated that he gets put in the same sentence as those other two? Is he that bad? He's really not. Not to be grouped with them, surely.

yeah. id replace cook with carlos mencia. his humor is more fitting to perry and larry the cable guy
