Ripped from espn power rankings:
Haven't said nearly enough about Serge Ibaka's play during OKC's 13-2 surge without Russ Westbrook because we've all been so focused on Kevin Durant's play. Shame on us: Ibaka happens to be averaging 18.6 PPG, 8.2 RPG and 2.9 BPG while shooting 63 percent from the floor in that span.
Those are really good 2nd option #s. Would be curious to see how he compares to Bosh in games where Dwade sits.

Better #s than anyone on LeBron's team.

It's going to be very interesting once Russell comes back.

Depends how well Westbrook plays when he returns.
If he plays his inefficient chuckball I don't expect them to be as good as they were when they were playing without him.

I've said all along that Ibaka would be a better 3rd option than Harden, and I'm sticking to it. Good trade for OKC and got some pieces from it. I really think this is the KD's year, I feel it.

Westbrook is cancer. He goes out and everyone performs a lot better. He's supposed to be the PG running the show? Really? What a joke of a player.
This team is better without him. Durant and the boys are ready to face the Grizzlies and get annihilated in sweet fashion.

Nice numbers, doubt he could do that in the playoffs without him though. He looked horrid without him last year.

If you were to trade him away, who would you trade him too and for what players to help build around the Russ-less Thunder team?

WB would be an awesome 6th man off the bench player. Averaging 20/5/5 with great hustle/energy and defense.

I was joking. You never trade Westbrook. Unless he becomes Rose.

Solid numbers. Scary thing is he can still be alot better. Once his defensive game matures, he becomes a more willing rebounder, and his post game develops, he'll be a BEAST.

The Thunder were 21-4 with Goatbrook.
Here, let me do the math for you
- 84% winning percentage
- at that rate, they were projected to go 68-14, well 68.88, so if you want to round up it's 69 wins
Sure, the Thunder should trade him :hammerhead:
I understand everyone wants to see Durant go solo and put up some ridiculous stats like he is now, but they aren't beating a top 5 west team in a series without Russ.

Only guys that you trade Westbrook for:
LeBron
CP3
Paul George
maybe LaMarcus Aldridge / KLove

They should just amnesty Westbrook. His services are no longer required, Reggie's better anyways. Keep Perk, at least he can stop Dwight if OKC plays Houston.

Bosh is a better player than Ibaka but they play similar roles and Ibaka is MUCH better in that role. Bosh could be a number one option and drop 24 a night where Ibaka could never do that by himself.
It's stupid to say that OKC is more stacked than MIA but they fit together much better as a team than MIA.

Real decent numbers, but still, if he's the second option for the post season, can't see Thunder making it as far as they should. Though, I do think they would be a better team if they deal Westbrook and get a good return. Only issue is, what team would give up enough for Russ?

If you think OKC without Westbrook can win a title you're delusional.
Westbrook should come off the bench.

As I said many times before, Ibaka as a first option is a 24-26/12 guy with (most importantly) DPOY D

I wish people would stop mentioning what happened last year. Our players have improved since then and learned how to play without Westbrook. In no way am I saying we're better without him because we're not.....just pointing out the fact that things have changed a little since then.

You wouldn't trade Westbrook for Anthony Davis?
I can't even imagine how good the current Thunder team would be with Anthony Davis instead of Westbrook.
Ibaka and Davis would be an insane duo in the paint.

Considering the injuries; which side would say no to a Al Jefferson for Westbrook deal?

If Ibaka were in the East he would be an All Star instead of Bosh. During last night's Heat/Suns game even the Suns announcers were talking about how Ibaka has been playing like an All Star. Yet OKC "fans" continue to belittle him in order to prop up Durant.
