George Hill's flop would've been really bad had he gone through with it, but Monta's is definitely a "Flop of the Year" candidate. That was comically bad.

On another note, after getting blown out at Charlotte last night, the Mavs go to Indiana tonight and win by 8.

Looks like he lost balance, and then wanted the refs to save him.

I know it looks bad, but do people realize that tilting the head back like that in a quick manner is natural human reaction? You're trying to get out of harms way as quickly as possible.

That's true, but dude was acting like he got hit in the mouth.

how does laying on the floor get you out of harms way

What about the part where he brings his hands up to his face, falls to the floor, and pretends to be hurt for several seconds, is that a natural reaction?

Monta actually flops very little, it's one of the reason he shoots such a relatively low number of fts give how much he drives but man that's bad. Then again Chris Paul does that 4 times a week.

Absolutely not, but the rest of what I said stands true.

Who cares, worse happens almost every game.. and it really does look like he lost his balance more-so than a flop.

Very true.

Exactly. He actually tries to glide around bigs to score rather than just jumping into people for contact. If he was more like Harden and received the same treatment from the refs, he

I agree. He looks like he lost his balance, fell, and then like every NBA player in the history of the game, looked at the ref for a foul just for the hell of it.

And it it was at the worst time. Up 6 with the ball...could have cost us the game.

Monta was great tonight though...

FLOP LVL: LeBron

wrong, LeBron is good at flopping. this is probably the worst display of flopping i have ever seen.

How is LeBron good at flopping? He's a horrific actor and comedic, unless that is how you're judging it.

Lebron's flops are awesome, he has a certain ridiculous style that makes them entertaining, Ellis doesn't

Lebron has great timing as well, Ellis randomly flopped almost a second too late. Lebron anticipates the pretend contact like a consummate pro

It's funny when bran stans point the finger at other players flopping:lol

He's not a flopper.

He was trying to get a foul. He was in a bad place and tried to push off and then tried to spin out. Then lost his balance. Then awkwardly fell out of bounds right in front of his coach. Yeah...I wont argue if someone wants to call it a flop. But he was trying to bail himself out cause he was in trouble and flailed around and made it worse.

One of those :facepalm moments. But not really a flop of the year.

And the purpose of flopping is what?

And the purpose of flopping is what?

Like I said. I wouldn't argue that wasn't a flop. It totally was. Don't know about flop of the year or anything. Ellis isn't a flopper. Just got in a bad spot. Thought he was gonna draw a foul and when he didn't he realized he had nothing. So, he did that spinfloppulous move right in front of his coach.

I'm sure it wasn't his proudest moment.
