Still a ton of games left. But that shot is the best at the moment. Simply amazing.

Simply the best player in the planet right now.
Best player in the league. Doesn't matter if LeBron wins MVP or not this season. He is the true King of the NBA.

The sequence of events in the ATL - OKC game was more exhilarating. KD hitting a go ahead bucket, only to have to see the game tied again and have to go back and hit a GW over 3 defenders was more pronounced given the streak of dominance the entire NBA world was amidst and enamored with, sans LeBron stans.
Westbrook's game winner against Golden State was also maddeningly exciting.
I'd say these two, along with Bron's shot last night, are top 3 thusfar.

meh. i would take a game winning fade away 3pointer while down 2 points agaisnt a much better Warriors team (compared to the Hawks) with the home crowd behind them over an easy midrange jumpshot/floater with alot less pressure because the game is tied

Lebron sure loves that 3 point spot, that's the same spot he destroyed the Bull's in game 5 of the 2011 playoffs.

My hats off to LeBron for hitting that tough shot but if you think a fade away 3 pointer is a better shot selection than a mid range jumper...well:oldlol: The part that I loved from Durant's shot was that 3 guys couldn't stop him from getting to the spot on the floor that he wanted to get to and then he just shot it over them. Fade away 3 pointers will be missed much more than made, if I'm a coach, regardless that he made the shot last night, I'll give him that shot all day, every day.

Great play no doubt, but not as pleasing as Lebrons. Lebron did it with .1 left and took a 3 when he could've tied it with a 2. I think Westbrook had a better shot to win this year. Durant always #2

A 3pter from mid court is more impressive but I want my guy creating an easier shot rather than a tougher shot but that's just me.

That's pretty much the only spot where he's comfortable taking a pressure three.
Congrats to him though, it was a great shot. He finally had his MVP moment for the first time (or was this the second?) this year. If he can do it about 10 more times he may catch Durant.:applause:

Did you actually watch the game last night? The score went back & forth about 5 times with 1 min remaining. OKC did it at home against much shittier opposition.
- 1:22 Iggy hit a wild shot over Battier after almost loosing control of the ball. GS leads by one.
- 0:58 LeBron hits a long three over Klay who was draped all over him. Miami by 2.
- 0:47 Curry shakes and bakes his way to a nice pull up. Tied game.
- 0:25 LeBron gets fouled going to the rack, hits 1/2 fts. Miami by one.
- 0:14 Curry crosses over Chalmers get bumped and gets an And1. GS by 2.
- 0:00 LeBron hits a 28 footer over Iggy at the buzzer.
And there's nothing better than to hit this shot against one of the best defenders on the road, and to do it going into the all-streak break where everyone will be talking about it.

Weren't you Durant stans saying this last year, and the year before etc?
So the NBA ended now? No more future seasons and new NBA champions? How old was LBJ when he won his first ring? Didn't he fail a bunch of times before winning it all? Why do you idiots think Durant can't win it all someday? He's only 25, he's getting better, what exactly is the reasoning behind the "he can't win it all" narrative? Or is it just pure insecurity by Bron stans that Durant will one day surpass him. Just on age alone, that will happen. In my lifetime, Bird/Magic gave way to MJ, then Shaq, Kobe and TimD gave way to LeBron, he too will be surpassed by another great, and it'll be Durant's turn. Fact of life, Bron kiddies, deal with it.

Not sure if you're talking the play of the calendar year 2014 or the 13/14 season. For the latter one Jeff Green's buzzer beater against the Heat on their home court is better.

Goatbrook's game winner against the same team was much more impressive. Not only did he save the play with an absurd offensive rebound, but his actual game winner was substantially more difficult.

Lebron had around 11 seconds of solid iso time to get off the shot he wanted. Goatbrook was trapped in the corner and literally only had 2.5-3 seconds to do something.
