on a kobe hater website (lebron stan ) website none the less

:confusedshrug:

2nd most 1st place votes ( twice as many as anyone else )

7th best all time player ( i thought kobe was boarderline 10th or 11th? )

didnt a guy post this link the other day when it just got started using it as proof that lebron was better than kobe all time ( lebron had a slight edge with a few hundred people voting by then )

oops

Kobe is overrated by the dumb, casual fan. What else is new?

Every single time you bring up Kobe and make a thread, your energy exudes into the ether of reality and Kobe himself picks up on your signals and feels better about himself and the universe is at peace.

the fact that kobe has twice as many 1st place votes than lebron yet hes only a few thousand points over leads me to believe that kobe fans wont leave lebron on the bottom or off their list all together... because they have pride.... yet lebron fans will make sure they dont select kobe at all out of spite

kobe fans > lebron fans ( in terms of integrity )

Talking shit when you voted Kobe as 2nd :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

1. MJ
2. Kareem
3. Russell
4. Bird
5. Magic
6. Shaq
7. Wilt
8. Duncan
9. Hakeem
10. Lebron
11. Kobe
12. Moses
13. Oscar
14. Erving
15. West

So you can tell how I feel about that.

The list has some stupid stuff but it's not awful by any means. And KD has not claim to top20 right now.

The rest of the options are trash. Stockton, Isiah, Dirk, and KD? Who in their right mind would put KD in their top 20? What kind of retard doesn't even include Baylor, Hondo, Mikan, Reed, Barry, Robinson, KG, Wade, etc. as options? ESPN is straight up retarded. Dirk is the only one among them who has a chance at being top 20.

the funny thing is .... i dont take it seriously.. i'm just pointing out a simple fact that even on a kobe hating site ... kobe is #7 all time...

even on a lebron circle jerk website... kobe has twice the 1st place votes

if anything. if it wasnt espn and a more widend range of people. kobe would be higher than 7th. probly top 3-5

the whole point is to show that kobe is generally accepted as 7th all time at worst ....

take it for what its worth..

I've seen more than enough to know that Shaq, Duncan, and KAJ are better than Bird. Haven't seen Russell, but from what I've read about him and his accolades, he's definitely no lower than #3.

Really, all it does is prove that the majority of fans have no consistent logic in ranking players; have no knowledge about the history of the nba; or both.

Citing majority opinion like it's some kind of proof is also beyond idiotic.

Ask those same people why they ranked ___ so high; and they'll say "___ has x rings or ___ finals mvps". Yet they'll leave off people with more rings or finals MVPs.

Perplexing rankings.

It's difficult to compare players from different eras, but at least in the post-Jordan, pre-LeBron era (1998 to 2010) I strongly feel that the order should be
Duncan
Shaq
Kobe
Dirk
Garnett
with Duncan, Shaq and Kobe all having a good case for top 10. I call this the dominant PF era. LeBron is difficult to rank within that period (as is Jordan in the 80s) but his dominance of the 2010s so far is putting him above Kobe with the possibility to overtake Shaq and Duncan by the end of his career.

And if you have Kobe first, which even though I disagree with I can respect, then certainly Duncan shouldn't be so many spots behind. That there is no justification whatsoever for.
