Make a loss limit. If you go over that limit at any point just go home. Don't try to break even thats how the house gets you man.

you will get the most fun and excitement at a crowed craps table...but they are expensive, but be ready to blow a few hundred

Yeah I'm thinking of taking like $200 and leaving my debit card at home. What card game is the easiest to play at most casinos?

Blackjack is pretty simple. But make sure you know how to play, some people sitting at the same table will get mad at you if you dont follow the "blueprint" and hit when you shouldn't or stay when you shouldn't.

I've somewhat familiar with blackjack but I have no idea when it comes to betting. Thanks though

yeah $200 should be fine as long as you play 5 and 10 dollar tables. maybe 15 if the dice have been treating you right through the night.

and if you do decide to play craps, dont feel too intimidated at first. the guys working the table will always help you if you have any questions, and those playing around you will give you tips too since youre all on the same team. (unless there one of those randoms that bet against the pass line)

and with a bank of 200, walking away with plus 500 or 600 is not out of the question at all.

Wow thanks for the info. I'll find an app and familiarize myself with the game. I'll post here tomorrow and let you guys know how it went. Thanks again

I'm a roulette guy. Pretty easy to understand, really good payout if you hit a single number. It's kind of addicting to me.

Roulette.

Let us say you have 400 Dollars.

You bet 20 on red -> You lose ->you bet 40- you lose again -> you bet 80

At some point you get your money back.

You bet 20- you win - you put aside the 20 you won and bet 20 again

Repeat process.

Unless black hits 7 times in a row. You cant really lose.

If you're going to play roulette make sure to pick European instead of American if they have both as it only has a single zero on the wheel instead of two.

Only one game at the casino where the house doesn't have an edge........POKER.

Otherwise, Spanish 21 is the shit to play. It's like blackjack, but there are no 10s (J/Q/K still exist), you can Double Down at any time (so if you have a 6 and aren't confident on doubling, you hit and get a 5 to make 11, you can double then), you can double-double and double-double-double. Blackjack/21 always wins no matter what the dealer has (so if you hit blackjack and dealer has an A/Paint showing, you get paid even if they hit it). Getting a 6-7-8 21 pays 3:2. Suited 6-7-8 pays 2:1 and Spade Suited 6-7-8 gets 3:1. Same with 7-7-7 21s. Five card BJ pays 3:2, 6 Card pays 2:1, 7 Card pays 3:1.

Also, the best part is, if you split A's, you can hit/double then as well.

My friends and I at one point were reading books about blackjack all day, since we got interested... Read techniques, how to increase your chances, ways of reading the table and getting ideas of which cards to expect, how to play the dealer, etc... All that jazz.

We'd always go together, and we set a limit to $100. I know its not a lot, but we're university students.
Its surprising how far $100, and some good techniques and understanding of a particular game will get you. Obviously we had a few nights where we lost, but in all honesty, I think each of us were up about 6 or 7 grand over the course of the whole times we were going. One friend had a night where he won 4 and a half grand... this is while starting with a simple hundred... lol. They actually had people from the casino take him home due to the fact he won so much money, and they offer it for you if you're leaving with a large enough sum of cash.

I guess we might have been lucky or something, but we had a lot of free nights on the town due to doing what we did. I know the odds are never in your favor stepping in there, but it managed to work for us somehow through using pretty basic techniques to increase our odds.

Or if it lands on zero...

I went from $20 in Vegas to about $160 or so, and then it landed on zero.

Exactly, the statement shouldn't be "you can't really lose" when it's given if you play enough red/black on the roulette you will at some point lose.

The zeros are the casino edge which isn't that much on the roulette tables, but it's a surefire profit because everything pays back exactly equal to your odds except those one or two zeros.

Go in with a fixed budget. Don't ever spend more.

Have a fixed amount of money that you can afford to lose gambling. It should be separate from the money you'll be using for meals, shows, that sort of thing. Split your gambling money into slammer stacks, one for each day you'll be in Vegas. That way you don't blow your entire gambling budget the first night. Learn basic strategy for any game you plan on playing. You don't have to become a card-counting expert, but there are charts that tell you when to stand, when to hit, etc. Knowing basic strategy might not make you a winner, but it'll help you stretch your funds out further.

If you're gonna be hitting up a bunch of free drinks, take a look at Pai-Gow Poker. It's simple to learn, and the game has a very slow pace, which means more free drinks per bet.

If you're gonna be
