I just lost 10-15 pounds in 4 days. Is it gonna keep getting harder or will I probably lose the same amount next week?
I dieted quite well and exercised 30-45 min a day this week.(mostly swimming)

yes, it will get more difficult

you're probably quite overweight. losing a lot of weight initially is easy if you're fat

what's your goal? losing the first 20-30 shouldn't be all that difficult but getting down to the 170-180 will get tougher

just eat clean and balance weights and cardio and you'll get there

Why I wanna be skinny? Well the obvious reasons because it's healthier and stuff but I am really into sports and girls those are two things where being fat makes it 5x more difficult to succeed in(especially sports)

hmm i feel ya, sounds like you have a good frame to work with though.. instead of trying to just lose weight maybe you should try sculpting it and getting lean (maybe that's what you are doing I don't know)

Michelangelo didn't just begin hammering away at pebbles, he needed a slab of marble.. just remember that

Walk in the morning; fasted.

Center your exercise regime amongst compound lifts, sprints, HIIT style training, and cardio circuits as opposed to steady state training.

Obviously, your diet should center around lean proteins. That means eggs for breakfast, chicken for lunch, fish for dinner. That's the base. Build around it. Maximize satiety that way. And Consider incorporating ginger, garlic, cayenne, cinammon, lots and lots of leafy green vegetables, grapefruits and other foods.

Drop the wheat and milk and processed sugars.

Drop the carbs in general.

Fill yourself with water. Caffeine is an appetite suppresant as well.

My god i have never needed to lose weight it seems so fukking easy to do as oppose to stuffing your face to the max and getting adequate sleep lol

I don't know pounds but I've lost 10kg in about 6 weeks. First 2 weeks I lost about 3kg since then I'm about 1kg a week. I've stopped limiting my Calories now though and am doing the 5 2 fasting diet and still losing 1kg a week. When I started I was about 4kg overweight so I'm now in my correct bmi range but I plan on losing at least another 5kg to get back to my weight before I put it on.

I don't know about cutting carbs, I was told doing that is pointless because your body just burns its stores which will cause you to lose the weight but put it back on as soon as you eat carbs again.

Initially I was just eating 1600 calories a day and avoiding junk foods now on the 5 2 diet its 600 calories for 2 days of the week then whatever I want the rest of the week. Seems to be working now at the 1kg a week but I'm not in a big rush to lose the rest of mine and the 5 2 diet is meant to have other health benefits

Its easier for some people than it is for others. I've had it pretty easy and I'm now slowly but steadily losing what I want but I wasnt really fat fat to begin with. I've known others who plateu and struggle to lose weight at all at a certain point. Plus some people's digestion is used to certain foods and cutting those out cab make them feel like shit until the body gets used to it. Being hungry and feeling sick while craving the junk that will make you feel better isn't fun I guess.

I think most people want to lose it to quickly though, you see shit like the biggest loser claiming they lose like 10kg a week but if you read up on it they weigh in much longer periods than a week. Doctors say 1kg is the safe amount to lose a week just need to be patient and find a diet that is sustainable otherwise you won't sick to it and will put the weight back on.

I went from 246 to 181 from January 14 2012 to July of 2012. The first 20 pounds came in the first month.

The most important thing is watching what you eat. There were days where I didn't want to work out, so i didn't. But i still ate good and I still lost weight every single week I weighed in.

How tall were you when you lost all that weight? What were your daily meal plans and how much did you workout?

Without shoes I'm 6'0.25"

I made smarter eating habits. All I drank the whole day was water, I had a little milk in the morning and "sometimes" I would have 8 oz of pure squeezed orange juice. Usually I would have just an orange though.

From January until April al I did was run. I ran for 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week. Absolutely nothing else. I would say I went down to 210 doing just that.

From April after I did HIIT training. HIIT training would usually be 15-18 minutes, 5 sets of 3 rounds or 6 sets or 3 rounds. 50 seconds pushing yourself as hard as you can, 10 seconds of rest.

I saw the most changes when I went from 210 to 181 doing the HIIT training.

I snacked on healthy stuff throughout the day. Low-fat younger mixing crushed walnuts with it. Snacking on walnuts, having 1 piece of 88% Lint Dark Chocolate a day, 1 apple, 1 banana a day. Usually when I worked out, I would plan it right before dinner, Then when I worked out I'd eat dinner right away.

Cut out junk food, don't do fast food. If you go out to eat, always go for the chicken, try to stay away from the bread or pasta.

It will get to a point where the body is gonna get stuck on a weight for a while. It will probably be around 180 - 190 lbs for you seeing as you're 5'9''.

Thats not a bad one only if you sprint it and dont jog. Running fast/slow intervals is a good way of losing weight and getting better cardio at the same time. A good way to lose weight is calisthenics where you do high intensity workouts in little time. I do that to keep my cardio up since i hate running with a passion.

Just follow what people say here and/or just experiment. Fish is a great source of protein that doesnt get you fat at all so incorporate that in your meals. Eat fiber which is found on plants and dont eat anything with refined sugar as that turns into fat.

Just eat fruits, nuts, yogurt (only one a day for the calcium) for snacks and for dinner eat light like salads and stuff. Celery burns fat for some reason unbeknown to me so eat that for snacks too. Dont drink any juice as that turns you fat because you are drinking like 8 oranges per cup in you are drinking orange juice for example.

Eat more for breakfast than you would for dinner or lunch.

Tuna is always good for you so eat it with a nice carrot, green peas and lettuce salad. It is good for any meal.

I would recommend to eat rice with beans for lunch as that is a good source of fiber and protein and mix it with a nice salmon for taste.

After awhile you will find junk food atrocious. I use to eat kfc a lot but now it tastes well bad for some reason.

I would suggest save for meals you don't have control over. IN my case I don't have control over dinner. Whatever my wife cooks is what I would eat. If it was something not really healthy I eat less than I usually did and drank more water.

If you can have a smaller dinner and a bigger lunch, do it. If you have no control over what you eat at dinner snack small and smart throughout the day and enjoy your dinner.

This method worked great for me.

Also to note I would not eat after 8PM either. If I did it was 1 piece of 88% dark chocolate and that's it. Otherwise it was water.

Get a George Forman grill or an air fryer and keep chicken in the fridge. Easy to just grill some chicken breast and add some frozen vegetables for a quick reoeatable meal
