You have do not have very good comprehension. Although I did say the ASG is a bigger stage than the Finals, it does not mean it is more important than the Finals.

If you think about it, we are midway through the season and it is usually very boring at this time. That is why there is something called the allstar game. ASG in sports are huge in terms of ratings and casual watching and smack talking among fans.

This is a very watched game, the only basketball game on, with the best players in the world. We know the ASG consists of players showing off and calling each other out, something that doesn't happen in the Finals because it's pretty important not to drift away from the purpose of it. That is to win a championship.

ASG allows players to show the world who is the best. It's a game about individuality unlike the Finals, that showcase the best teams.

An example is Kobe and Durant showing why they are the leaders of this league when they punked Lebron. Lebron is one of the best players on the best team. Kobe and Durant are the best players regardless how crap their team are because they called out and challenged Lebron and continued to own him. You can play for a top high school and college but when I school you on the playgrounds, we know who the better player is. This is the ASG.

I just saw OP's other thread about LeBron not doing the dunk contest. To be honest, it's a pretty good analogy for the fact that he almost never responds to my posts in his threads. OP claims LeBron would have been an embarrassment if he had participated in the dunk contest... this is very similar to how embarrassing it would be for OP if he attempted to pursue debate with me. I destroy his arguments, but it goes relatively unnoticed because he refuses to respond to me.
