Not even just "mvp-esque." He was a few points short of ****ing Wilt himself

I appreciate him going hard, jumping all over the place, entertaining the crowd, but with the game on the line, he became a non factor. still a great performance from him.

What he did was exciting to see but in all honestly it wasn't difficult for someone with his skillset. He was getting great passes and all he had to do was run and jump and slam it home.

this. he was shut-down in the half-court the final 5 minutes. he had what? 0 field goal attempts during that stretch? cp3 couldnt even pass it to him in the paint it was so packed.

3 missed shots
2 huge turn overs
James Harden folks...nothing but a manufactured superstar

KD had a great game but chucked too much

Brooks saw that Blake was about to break Glen Rice's single quarter scoring record (3 pts away) and took him out.

The year Rice broke the record in 1997, MJ recorded the first ever triple double in ASG history and the MVP still went to Rice.

Blake should be pissed as farxed at Harden first then KD but if the West won they would have done co-MVPs anyways.

Ive never wished for an OT more than today :(

He had himself a really good but for the most part the defense was simply non-existent, so I wouldn't give much credit to those types of records, at all.

Just like that rising stars game..that has even less defense. If a certain someone wasn't busy chucking the ball and Blake actually got some touches at the end things may have been different.

True, if Melo took less threes the east woulda lost and Blake woulda been mvp.

And less ball movement, shit's painful to watch. Glad Drummond did his thing and that Waiters vs Hardaway duel.

He pretty much made the game. That performance by Griffin is exactly why people watch the All-Star game to begin with. They want fast pace, no defense, and lots of vicious dunking.

And yet he went 6-17 which was still better than:
LeBron 0-7
Harden 2-6
Curry 2-11
Joe Johnson 1-6
Paul 1-4

Curry's 3s were all open and good shots that didn't go down. Durant was chucking taking iso 3s over defenders. Icing out Griffin. What a joke.

If you look at the box scores for the past 4 All-Star game it is obvious that Durant is MVP chasing - Kobe style. At least Jordan and some of the other high volume scorers of the past would try interesting shots in the all star game - do people really want to see Durant chuck up long jumpers? It is a fine approach for the regular season but I would rather watch BG bomb dunks than that.
