View Full Version : Who had a better game tonight? LeBron or KD?

I got KD.
He had 38/10/6 and hit 5 threes on LeBron.
LeBron had 22/7/7 and had zero points on Durant.
Let's be real... this was all about KD vs. LeBron 1 on 1. The outcome of the game is pretty irrelevant.
What do you guys think?

I'm a LeBron fan, but I have to say KD. 0/7 3's from LeBron is just :facepalm
At the same time, Durant tried a bit too hard at the end, cost his team the game and cost Griffin a place in allstar history

Durant had the better game even though he was chucking at the end.

bout the same. both didnt play real well.
One player was coasting tho and let his teammates have fun too while the other one lost the game for his team while desperately chucking up threes to win the MVP trophy:applause: :applause:

The 18pt lead was lost with Paul, Griffin, and Durant on the bench. Kyrie won the game for the east.

Kyrieee
Lebron was cold from three. Durant was just chucking.
I'll go with Durant because he had more points on Lebron.

Kyrie, Melo, and Blake

Both were underwhelming, but I give the edge to Durant for the simple fact that Lebron was clearly shook and avoided the 1 on 1 in the 4th quarter.

Who won tonight?
Do you want to apply that logic to 2009 and 2010?

So the general consensus is KD?
That seems about right.
Great game from Kyrie, Paul, Griffin, and also Melo.
KD won the head to head battle with LeBron again.

Durant did stat-wise, but you have to look at it in context. Durant was out there chucking for the MVP while all the other players (including LeBron) were out there having fun. Durant chucked up 17 3 point attempts, probably an all-star game record.
Durant down the stretch of the game went 0-3 and lost his team the game, and didn't give it to the hot hand Blake was scored 38 points on 83% shooting.
Therefore, I have to go with LeBron.

Sure. Can you remind me, what was Lebron's record against Kobe when their teams matched up?

Durant didn't just have the better game tonight, he straight up embarrassed Lebron in front of millions watching.
Every time Durant drilled a 3 point shot in Lebron's face, he never went back at him. Dude was shooked

I will kill 2 birds with a stone here. They are both frauds.
Once again, Lebron showed that he has no impact on a stacked team. A team much more stack than his own. A kid got the MVP.
Durant is a fraud too. Chucked his team to a loss. They say he's better than Kobe at scoring but he doesn't know how to score in other ways or create for his team.

Durant of course. He just wasn't trying and letting bron win so he chuck 3s or else he would be dunking on people just like bran

But Lebron came up in the clutch as usual, while Durant chucked his team away from the win.

Feb. 20th KD will be going for the 3-peat.

Another thing, Lebron's got more highlight plays than Durant, I don't know but Lebron lived up to the ASG of showcasing your talent, not chasing some hardware or trying to prove a point.

KD certainly played a better individual game, especially with lebrons jumper being so cold.
With that being said lebron knew when to defer, whereas durant didnt. He shouldve at least let blake go for the record.

Durant, but to be honest it's a meaningless chuckfest of a game. I was a bit disappointed with Lebron's unwillingness to try to get back at KD for dropping 3s in his face though

Lebron won. Get over it.
The one who won.
Individually, KD had a better statline, he chucked up more shots afterall, especially from 3 hehe.
Griffin was awesome though, 19 of 23.

How the hell did Durant "chuck" his team to a loss? By missing a layup triple teamed and a desperation 3 off a screen on a play that was set up for HIM?
38/10/6 66 TS% vs 22/7/7 50 TS%. This is an absolute joke.
And Griffin only went 19-23 because he got like 15 WIDE OPEN dunks. Durant had what, 2 dunks all game? Hell LeBron was something like 0-11 on non dunks/layups and he was assisted on every basket he made

he scored to huge 3pters when it actually mattered in the last minute of last game.
7 points in the alst minute alone including the best gamewinner by far this season.
Durant went 6/17 from three in an allstar game.

KD, along with Griffin, carried the West until the last minute. Everyone else on the West pretty much sucked. Curry's shot was completely off, and CP3 actually ruined their momentum with his constant dribbling and terrible shooting.
Kyrie, Melo, PG, and Wall were the ones who carried the East. Lebron had 0 impact on the game. Missed all of his shots except for one lucky bounce and even missed an uncontested dunk.:lol He looked shooked too especially when KD was draining 3's in his face and everybody was waiting for him to do the same but he kept playing hot potato.:lol
