Mikan, West, Baylor, Wilt, KAJ, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Gasol > Kobe in terms of on the court. Fisher and Horry could be argued if you give extra weight to "clutch" situations.

Its been proven that volume scoring on mediocre efficiency can be replaced easily by just playing as a team. Whereas only a handful of players in history have a reputation for late game heroics. Kobe is not one of them, and without being fortunate to play with two of the absolute best closers in the game plus the MDE, he would have no legacy to speak of.

The hyperbole around Kobe is ridiculous. The truth is hes a ballhog all game and then misses big shots at the end. He doesnt play defense. He talks chit about teammates and then demands to be traded to an easier conference. He hogs up salary cap space he doesnt deserve. He plays up injuries to the media. He rapes white women and then rats out teammates for affairs.


And the reality is that even tho its subjective, if you had to make a case for the most overrated player in history it would be easiest to do it for Kobe by far.
