They embarrassed the Heat on the road without Westbrook..now they're at home with their 2nd best guy back?

This is either gonna be a huge disappointment of a game, or the greatest beatdown of the defending champs in NBA history.

Any idea if they gonna use nickname jerseys?

I like the idea of King, Jesus, GOATbrook and The Servant being on the court together.

This is a pseudo-statement game. People are gonna hype the shit out of it, but it doesn't mean that much. KD has already proved who he is, the best in the world. The Thunder have already proved that they're here and ready to win it all.

People are gonna jizz themselves over this matchup just because Westbrook is coming back, completely ignoring the fact that it could very well take a significant adjustment period working him back in.

Doubt it, last time he came back he was back to starter minutes. They wouldn't play him if he wasn't ready.

Sounds like excuses to me.

KD didn't outplay Bron, and if he did it was marginally. If people thought the first game meant a lot, this one means as much or if not, more than the first one.

3 fast break buckets with Bron no where near him, and the worst goaltend call ever are all included in that 9-17. If they were completely honest, its 5-13...

And all that shows is Bron guarded the best player on the other team the whole game just about, while KD didn't.

I've already said Durant is the best player in the league, but he didn't outplay Bron that game.
They scored the same amount of points, and KD got a few more assists because his teammates hit everything. The difference was role players, and the fact KD made some nice plays on Lebron, leading everyone to think KD did something special.

Yes he did. :oldlol: By a lot actually. Considering the amount of double teams KD attracted all game, those stats don't even do his play any justice.

He outplayed him, just admit it.

Hell, who knows, LeBron might even it out this Thurs, which is what I'm fully expecting.

Russ was playing far more like a true point guard in that amazing stretch before he went out again. I'm hoping after his time out the team will work him back into that rhythm. It was beautiful to watch. If he can average 7 assists the rest of the season with that deadly speed and ability to get to the rack.. *drool

Russ usually is one of the 2 leaders in usage pct. (guy above him sure aint KD) so yea it sure will be less offensive possessions for KD, his scoring/fga and assists will drop down... maybe he might even have to share the rebounds aswell, per 36 Russ averages 7 rebounds a game afterall this season.
Russ was also Top 5 in the MVP race before he did that surgery.

With Wade probably missing more games than Russ from now on there is a possibility Lebron could take back that #1 spot soon, especially if he starts that run by winning that feb. 21 matchup.

So im not sure if Russ will be doing good things for KD's stats / mvp candidacy, OKC sure will be better though, you could then say KD doesnt care as long as they win.... but KD really wants the MVP this season...

So far KD is #1 in the MVP race, yes..... but locked up with many more games to go, while Russ is back the rest of the games and that #2 guy on the race has a very long run to take back that spot.... no, sorry... only you are deluding yourself....

 @ people saying Durant isn't the clear cut MVP at this point. There's TWENTY SEVEN games left for OKC. If Durant plays like his usual self and OKC still retains the first seed, LeBron would have to play the best basketball of his life for the remaining games left to even have a shot. It's not even close atm.

that was so unnecessary doe, i understand WB needs to play in order for them to be contenders just like how LBJ couldn't do it alone in cleveland, KD can't do it alone in OKC neither.
We do too. But unrelated to your dumb comment.
