It was advertised as a massive open world, but the world and npcs that inhabited it felt lifeless and robotic. I kept hearing glowing reviews left and right of the game so I just kept playing. I even searched and downloaded some of the best mods for it but even that didn't really help in the end. I did like the visuals/graphics at the time and just exploring some of the cities and places was eye-opening, but it wasn't enough to justify sinking more time into the game :(

:lol Nope but I do prefer those jrpg's. I bought GTA 1 and 2 after playing GTA 3 on my friend's PS2 and was very disappointed lol. Unfair I know, but it made me hate those games until I saved up and got my own PS2 and gta 3.
