Similar to Lebron's first game against Cleveland?

Or Lebon last year vs. Cleveland.

Cheers, a standing ovation for everything he did for the Lakers franchise.

I want to see the crowd's reaction when D12 shoot 100% on the FT line.

Laker fans won't be as salty as Cleveland fans..LeBron actually did good things for that team unlike Howard.

I would imagine they'd be very very very hostile. He's been balling this season and sucked ass there last year. I guess the fans in LA just didn't give a shit that he came back early from back surgery just to try and contribute for them.

I hope he gets the "Kobe" chants he got in the Phillipines.

Everytime he touches the ball

That would be enough for me

Probably will get booed just for the fun of it. Nobody cares that he left, Lakers will end up getting an actual franchise player through the draft and Howard has no pressure to succeed. Win win situation

He will probably get booed. That doesn't mean anything though. They're "over" him. They "didn't want him" in the first place. :oldlol: They "don't care" about him.

It's going to be fun watching Howard dominate the Lakers, that's for sure.

Good read. I wonder how many active players LAL have.

Whoever has a DNP with no injury is probably traded.

I wouldnt waste my energy booing him. He wasnt a Laker just like I dont consider Nash a Laker. Those guys are like " mercenaries" rather than someone who bleeds for their team.

I was just reading an article on ESPN about the lack of actual hype for the game nationally and came across this quote which amused me for some reason:

It was evident about an hour before one of their first games together. Howard sat at his locker, clad in nothing but his underwear, holding court with reporters on a variety of topics. Bryant walked through the locker room in his uniform and warm-ups, looking ready to take the court immediately.

"Is the game about to start?" Howard teased.

"I'm not the one sitting in here in my chonies," Bryant shot back, using slang for underwear.

As for what will happen, I predict Dwight will be booed heavily but this won't be anywhere near Lebron's decision. It'll make for a fun game atmosphere but I think the report is right that Lakers fans are moving on to who they can get, not who they lose (never take ISH as trusting piece for general fan interest). Oh and for anyone who wants to read the article:
