I'll bold and highlight the interesting parts.
[quote]DALLAS -- Thank goodness for the Dallas Mavericks that they landed a knockout punch on LeBron James when they could.

Then again, the Mavs

Lebron got that drive to be better

Just think, when you are that talented, it takes something special to demand more from yourself.

Dude defers to others to learn AKA shooting help with ray or post up work with Hakeem, seems like he's always using the help that's around him. I couldn't imagine someone like Shaq trying to learn from others, too much of an ego.

The Mavs became an average defensive team without Tyson Chandler. Chandler protected the lane, and he fitted perfectly with the Mavericks.

And Lebron's been hitting his outside shots against Dallas.

The Mavs became an average defensive team without Tyson Chandler. Chandler protected the lane, and he fitted perfectly with the Mavericks. He turned into an irrelevant player since he joined the Knicks.

We were actually about the same defensively without Chandler in 12. It's been the last 2 years in which we've dropped off defensively.

And it's expected when you lose Kidd, Stevenson, Marion and Dirk got older...and don't have a center as good defensively as Haywood was (sadly...)

You are right about Chandler being irrelevant though...

Do I even need to go into how retarded that statement is? Lebron's a great player, the best currently playing and entering the GOAT conversation, but one thing this fvcker is NOT is humble.

He's not KD humble, but he's not Kobe/Jordan arrogant either. He shows a lot of moments of humility like "Rio I was wrong" or "I'm not supposed to be here. I'm from Akron" or admitting he hit rock bottom after the Mavs series.

I've said this time and time again. Taking tough losses tends to help players, and I'm sure it helped Lebron. Just like Dirk losing to the Warriors and Heat helped him develop into a tougher player. Lebron got back to the gym and improved. Losses are humbling.

if anything it proves that dudes point, Lebron23 avoids the thread where Dirk calls Kobe the best player in the league..

then is there to slurp Dirk just a few post into this thread?

Besides, the guy who began the "Dirk said Kobe is the best" thread didn't even post in it but one time..

LOL does he think when he beats them now they're the same team that beat him in 2011? That Dallas team was special. They're nowhere near that level now. Who's even left on that team now that was on the championship team? Chandler, Kidd, Terry are all gone. Nowitzki isn't the same.

Umm...I'm sorry but he was a ring chaser before Dirk and the Mavs swept the floor with him in the Finals. He recruited more star players after that though, so I will give him that.

Well we don't know what he'll do in the playoffs if the Mavs should make it, but his regular season performance right now is just as efficient offensively as during the championship season. He might not be able to force it as much as in his prime, but I'd say he'll still give you 25 ppg on good efficiency in the playoffs if he's healthy. In the last 10 games he's averaging 24/7/3 while shooting 56/48/95, what more could you expect? Nowitzki isn't the problem with this Mavs team.

didn't KD dropped 30 ppg against the mavs. No wonder bran needs to team up with superstars. Hes just too behind to KD when it comes to development. Hes too busy trying to mimic Oscar who was a career loser. While Durant is good or already better than Jordan. He just needs to win rings. And I wouldn't be surprised if Durant was the reason for him teaming up coz this guy is already better than him since durants 3rd yr.

Bron dropped 30 something points and a triple double in game 6. Who saved his ass in game 7 when he scored 37 points? Was Kobe's ass saved in his legendary 6/24 shooting performance in game 7? :oldlol:

If he was the same "vintage 2011", they wouldn't of even made the finals last year. His shot was off for sure in the finals, but he still averaged 25/10/7 and brought them back from defeat in game 6, then dominated game 7.
