Bro basically same thing I'm thinking except KD already locked up the MVP.

OKc loses today but Kd wins mvp and championship

Eh he is the front runner but it's not locked up. Lebron has been turning it up more and more and with the return of Westbrook I could see the Thunder hitting somewhat of a slump. I do think that they are a better and more complete team with Russell, but IMO he is the type of player that after being gone so long does not waltz back into the team seamlessly. Now the Thunder have to adjust their game again and redistribute certain responsibilities. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Thunder losing to MIA, LAC, MEM, @PHO and to HOU over the next 9 games (they lost 5 of 8 when RW got injured against a much weaker schedule before going like 17-2 the rest of the way or whatever)

If Lebron outplays KD tonight, ends their win streak, and the Heat go on a win streak (could be already at 4 tonight) during that same time, the MVP race has drastically changed.

I'm not saying it's going to happen. I'm not saying I even want it to happen. But it's plausible and I feel like the MVP race is a "what have you done for me lately" type of affair. But that is certainly one possible scenario that would make the MVP up for grabs.
