True. LeBron was flat out incredible in the first quarter tonight, but Wade was more consistent though (throughout the 4 Q's).

Lebron was great, but Wade and Bosh were the glue that kept it all together. The bench was ridiculously cold. Battier did an excellent job guarding KD, but couldn't hit a shot to save his life...hopefully he gets back in a rhythm as we get closer to the postseason.

Lebron set the tone, and was better, but honestly, Wade's play won us the game in the sense that for the first time, he looked like he was leading the second unit. He defers way too much when Bron is off the floor. He usually looks better working off Bron the last two seasons, but tonight he took control.

Great game from both, and Westbrook looked pretty good/quick for someone coming off the injury he did. KD had an off night, but jeez did the officials help him. You can't touch the guy. Its hard to appreciate his games at times, even with how good he is. He'll be back next game. Dude is just tired.

Wade & Bosh are the co-MVPs. They were the key to winning this game in the 2nd half. How can the MVP have 3 assists and 8 turnovers and go 1-5 from 3?

Lebron sit the tone, Wade and bosh kept it flowing through the match.

Also, Miami's Defense was great.

He definitely did not. 33/7/3/4 in 33 minutes?! That as good as it gets. The scary thing? LeBron had most of those in the FIRST half.

4 steals as well as one of those turnovers coming from saving a bad pass. Wasn't Durant 1/7 from three?

I'm trying to give Wade & Bosh credit here. Yes, Bron had a good game in terms of scoring. He had a great first half. But Wade and Bosh closed the game out in the 4th quarter, when OKC had just made a big push in the end of the 3rd quarter.

The defense on Durant? The entire Miami defense should get credit for it. Reading your post, it sounds like the game is still played in isos and 1 vs 1. Durant constantly had 2-3 defenders on him when he tried to drive to the paint, he tried to pull up from 3 a couple times and his shot just wasn't falling, they pressured him well with double teams (Bosh is a very underrated team defender) and got the best of him, Durant should have passed more, you see on the replays of his misses that 2-3 guys are on him or going towards him to contest the shot while Reggie Jackson and Sefolosha were wide open from 3.

I say it's a tie between Wade and Lebron. Lebron set the tone but also disappeared during long stretches and committed 8 turnovers.

The entire team played excellent basketball. Btw, Birdman's presence on offense and defense is so under appreciated, especially when people talk as if they have no bigs. He is better than half of the starters in the league.

Lebron quite clearly. As another poster mentioned, he set the tone for what was never really a game.

That poster on Ibaka was icing on the cake.

Battier=corps
Chalmers= retarded

they are still a somewhat good team but not close to being stacked,
they need the big three to deliver like today in the playoffs

It's pretty close to be honest, and it's hard to pick one for me. Lebron dominated early on and set the tone. Wade played well after Lebron left and helped maintain the lead. Lebron's 8 TOs don't really tell the story. Half of them were just from shitty passes he was trying to save.

Didn't D Fish have an insanely high +/- at one point during 08-10? Horrible stat to draw conclusions from; especially a sample size as small as one game.

And I'll take that as a no in regards to my question. Truly pathetic how upset you are over how good LeBron is.

Lol wade is in a great spot. If he sucks, it's okay cuz his knees. He has a good game, he played better than lebron. Especially the past two years in the playoffs, wade was worse than his stats showed. Team's main goal was to stop lebron, and they also knew wade was not himself with his knee problems, so there was less attention on him, and more on lebron, but if wade puts up 20-5-5, and lebron puts up 28-7-7, wade had the better game.

Wade put up 24/7/10/3 with 3 TO's
Bron 33/7/3/4 with 8 TO's

Bron 9 more points and 1 more steal, but 7 less assists and 5 more TO's

He had a better game, no question about it.

Wade absolutely killed OKC. Any time they tried to creep back in Wade either made a shot, got a steal, or attacked and got a teammate an open look.

He was everywhere tonight and the MVP of the game. No one can beat the Heat when Wade plays like that.
