Why Is Blake Griffin So Hated?

The guy is a beast. Aside from Dwight, he is next most underrated player in the NBA. People slobber over Shawn Kemp highlights, but Griffin is literally on the same level. The guy doesn't get his due.

There is an automatic hate reaction once a player gets enough hype and face time in the national media. Don't think it has anything to do with him as a player or person...it is just the inevitable reaction for someone with his name recognition.

This is one thing we both can agree with. Way too nice of a guy at times. Although he does do a good job of taking players out of their game with his antics. So I can respect that.

CP3 is just as notorious a flopper, and has just as many annoying corny ass commercials. (At least Blake has that new black and white one where he's actually serious and talking about elevating his game. I think it's a nike or jordan commerical, not sure)

CP3 seems to have a godly publicist or something. Nobody ever criticizes him and he always has the rep of being one of the best leaders in the league despite never winning anything.

I like CP3, but the dude NEVER gets heat for when his teams lose in the playoffs, or how he left New Orleans and even considered taking his talents to Houston last offseason.

Personally I think he made expectations very high in his rookie year nobody expected him to come out like that especially after his knee problem when he was drafted.

Since then I think his improved his game quite a lot in terms of not just trying to jump over everyone and getting better in the post and he actually is ok with being patient

And obviously the flopping doesn't help because we sort of expected a bad ass pf sort of like the reign man

I really think he has all the right tools to be a massive fan favorite and a bigger superstar in the league if he goes away from flopping and just plays straight up

I should just add that personally I dislike flopping a lot, ive played a lot of basketball in my life and am super competitive so ive always had a problem with floppers even on my team ... losing sucks but getting bullshit calls at the end thanks to flopping would never make me feel great .. so thats probably my beef and the only thing stoping me from being a massive fan of his
