Another quailty win over the Spurs this time by a 21 points.

They are now 1 game behind in the loss column with the Clippers and only 3 behind the Rockets in 3rd and Portland. Suns are now 12 games over 500 and thats with Eric Bledsoe missing alot of games who could be back in practise this week.

Chance they could make the 2nd round?

It's been fun watching them grow this season.... Clippers need to watch their backs or the Pacific Division could slip away

Dragic had his worst game of the season, Bledsoe was on the sidelines, AND Barbosa was out of the game with a toe injury, so their 3rd string PG Ish Smith was running the offense most of the game and was dominating. Yet they STILL blow the Spurs out.

This is a statement game for the Suns. So many people doubt them because they think that without Dragic and Bledsoe they're nothing. But I feel the opposite. One of this team's biggest strengths is the fact that they have so many players who can step up on any given night and produce and score 20+. Last time I checked they had like 7 guys averaging 10+ and 2 who were on the verge of 10. That's really good balance and teamwork. You can't just shut down their best players and expect to have an easy night. If you double team 1 guy, another guy will just step it up and get hot and make you pay.

This team is only getting better and better and yet they're doing it without who many people consider the best player on the team. Imagine what this game would've been like if Bledsoe was playing. If Bledsoe is back and playing at 100% when playoffs come, this team is going to be extremely dangerous. And the scary part is that they're not even done building and a lot of the players on the team aren't even in their prime playing at their ceiling level yet. They're going to be a key player in trades/free agency this summer with all of the cap space and assets they have. Imagine if they add Kevin Love to this team with how good they're already doing without him? They'd be legit 1-2 seed title contenders with a pick-up like that. How would you stop this team on the fast break? You couldn't. And they'd be able to shoot as many 3s as they want with Love cleaning up the missed shots.

Can't wait for playoff time. Hope they shut the doubters up...

A few stats some people might not know about this Suns team:

- They lead the league in fastbreak scoring
- They have the most amount of 10+ point comeback wins in the league
- They have the least amount of 10+ point blowout losses in the league

This team doesn't give up.

I'm concern how Bledsoe being back will affect Green, who has been really amazing down this stretch. Green was stellar tonight too, along with the morrises and Ish.

Horny will have to divide minutes between Dragon, Bled, Green, Blur. I would like to see the coach letting Bled earn his minutes, because Green definitely earned his.

Definitely a shot of making the second round, depending who they face of course.

It's not a bad thing to be stacked at guard. Maybe Green could play some minutes at SF with Tucker coming off the bench and the Morris twins playing more minutes at C with a "small ball" kind of lineup.

I think Ish deserves as many minutes as Barbosa now with the way Ish has changed his play style for the better. Dude is just balling out there. I always said he'd be better if he embraced a scoring PG role instead of just focusing on passing which isn't his strong point. He's a REALLY good scorer... he actually plays a similar game to Barbosa only I think Ish might even be faster than Barbosa now with Barbosa getting older. He's also sneaky good on D for his size.. He's like a gnat just annoying other teams stealing the ball and taking it back down the court so fast.

Honestly they COULD go to the Finals if they played their best and the playoff seeding played out in their favor(aka another team eliminating the Thunder). The only team I don't think they have a chance of beating in a 7 game series is the Thunder. Every other team in the playoffs I believe they have a chance against. The Thunder are just a nightmare matchup for them. But the Suns playstyle, scoring balance, and hunger to win allows them to at least be competitive with any team out there.

There's no way this team gets swept no matter who they play, not even by the Thunder or Heat. They just have a team chemistry that's built on winning by out-working other teams, never giving up, and fueled by a desire to prove everyone wrong that no other team in the Western Conference playoffs has. I don't think I've ever seen a team (that was expected to lose so many games before the season started) take every single regular season loss they get so hard no matter how good the team they're playing against is. They don't like to lose and will do whatever it takes to avoid it. Even when there's pretty much no way they can come back to win a game they keep trying their hardest until the end. That's just the kind of team they are.

Is it likely for them to get to the Finals? No. They're still a young team with a rookie coach and a lot of the players don't have much playoff experience. Well, actually Dragic, Bledsoe, Frye, Green, Barbosa, and coach Hornacek all do have playoff experience so maybe I'm underestimating their playoff readiness. But if they do get to the Finals that would be extremely impressive(and awesome for a team that was picked to be last in the conference). I'm just interested to see how they do in the playoffs even if they lose first round.

Im not sure about the exact amount but i've read its enough to give a max contract and that would still leave enough to match any offer for bledsoe since he is restricted.

Oh and 3 picks with a possibility of 4 so a decent chunk once okafors contract is done

Dude's going to be the Suns head coach for a long, LONG time. Talking more than a decade long.

I know it's only his first year, but I really wouldn't be surprised if he reaches "Franchise's All-Time Greatest" status some day. His "god-tier coach" potential is off the charts... dude has the complete package of what you want in a coach... the former NBA All-Star experience that demands his players' respect, the ability to keep his players playing with 100% effort every game, his ability to keep a good team chemistry, his ability to recognize the strengths of his players and adjust the playstyle to get the most out of them, his recognition of untapped talent(Green/Plumlee), his ability to get the team/players out of a slump and step it up when they're stuggling and also keep the team believing that they can win even when they're down big(leading to them having the least amount of 10+ point losses in the league), etc.

The only thing he's not really at least shown signs of yet is developing rookies. Alex Len and Archie Goodwin have all-star level ceilings with their crazy amount of athleticism/talent but Hornacek just hasn't found enough time and space in the rotation to work on developing them. You can't really blame him when the rotation he's been using has won so many games, but still it would be nice to see Len/Goodwin live up to their huge potential and don't let them get too used to sitting on the bench...

Seriously? a max contract? without losing anybody? Suns could be a CF team next year then.

Anyone else like the idea of signing Kevin Love this summer outright? Does adding Kevin Love to this roster make them a #1 seed title contender? Imagine how many 3s this Suns team could shoot with Kevin Love and Miles Plumlee right there to scoop up the rebounds left and right and Love giving this team the legit power forward paint presence they're lacking. I think Kevin Love is a match made in heaven with this team, and Miles Plumlee is a good enough defender to mask Love's poor D. it's not like it would be a downgrade defensively anyways... Love is a much better defender than Channing Frye tbh. Would be an upgrade.

Love's stats would be insane on this Suns team...

So you don't think management will spend just for the sake of it then. Havn't looked at the free agency list to see who's available to be honest.

They will spend money to get the best player they can, but the free agent list this summer isn't the most attractive.

We really need a superstar big. The only one I see this summer is Bosh.

No way this new GM McDonough knows what he is doing he will only spend assets on getting a superstar he is going to keep those assets and cap space until he gets his guy. Thats why the suns made no trades this trade deadline cause with the success of the team its not worth it unless we get that major piece

Kevin love is like the dream scenario a stretch big that helps with their rebounding problems and can be a go to guy without taking up space inside. He is a long shot though but he is pretty much the ideal missing piece.

Oh. But he does want out of Minnesota to go to a contender and there's no denying that if you add a player of Love's caliber to this Suns squad they're instantly contenders especially if Bledsoe can stay healthy. The Suns have more than enough 1st round draft picks stockplied, and some promising young players with high ceilings they could package like one of the Morris Twins and Archie Goodwin.

I'd be willing to give up all 4 1st round draft picks, 1 of the Morris twins, and Goodwin if Love pre-agreed that he'd sign a very long-term contract immediately. I'd even throw in all 3 2nd round draft picks if that's what it takes to get them done. This Suns team can live without draft picks for a year if it means acquiring Love and making the jump to being elite.

I think in this situation Frye is gone. Keep both twins and get those picks away. No need for them right now. Bledsoe could come off the bench with the 2nd team and be even more dangerous this season once healthy.
