15 yard penalty is pretty harsh. I would rather see a fine to be honest. I don't think it's anyone's business to tell these players what to say on the field. No one can hear them anyways!

Its not hypocrisy, no one is stopping you from saying it. You can't paint black people with broad strokes. Some black people might react to you negatively, some positively and some would be ambivalent to you using the word. I see the exact same argument as yours all the time on the internet "why can't black people say ****** or *****! Reverse racism! Woe is me!" Richie Incognito used the word in the locker room all the time, some players even called him an honorary "*****". Setting and context matters and I don't see how why the NFL is trying to regulate language on the field when I'm sure a lot more hateful stuff will continue to be said.
