That infographic is old as phuck. But yeah, I was definitely cheering for its superstitious implications leading up to last year. Now, not so much.

Lebron is a superior player to Kobe. The 2011- Heat are more dynastic. Imo this year is where the eery similarities end.

The 2014 Miami Heat are a much, much better team than the Lakers of 2011. They won't get swept. All depends on the Pacers and injuries.

Plus they're younger, better defensively and offensively, and have hungrier players. They'll be fine.

Pacers

Nah, Pacers aren't a veteran team and they don't have anyone who can dominate offensively in the playoffs.

Pure garbage.

Please find something better to post, and stop wasting ISH's time with idiotic insinuation trying to demean and dethrone the King.

This board is an NBA discussion, nikka. I can discuss what ever the hell I wanna discuss. Not everything I talk about relates to the Rockets

Will the Heat face the Mavs twice during the potential 3peat? Did the Heat have a threepeat with Shaq and Wade? Did Wade have an 81 point game?

The conspiracy fails because it randomly chooses to be specific and vague at certain points just to make the narrative work. Yeah Shaq played and won a championship for both teams, but if it was Yao instead they'd still write it as "a legendary and popular center"

Miami was still lottery bound with Shaq on the Heat. We were 7-25 with him. The '04 Lakers went to the Finals with him. The Thunder had 3 "Superstars" (KD, WB, and Haren), while the Magic had only one Superstar in DH. The '11 Lakers got swept in the second round. Do you honestly believe that Wade and LeBron would let the Heat get swept?!

i think about this all the time, but no way in hell do the heat get swept in the ECSF

Back to back champions, with the best player in the world (who had just won back to back MVPs and Finals MVPs. He was the favourite to win MVP again, but his friend and rival, the offensively gifted, high scoring forward from the western conference had a career year and won the MVP for the first time in his career. The champions had a down regular season, winning less than 60 games, but still good for 2nd seed in the conference. This was mostly due to the fatigue of two straight championship run in addition to the Olympic run of their best player. The champs lost the 1st seed to the rugged, all time great defensive team anchored by a 7 foot defensive behemoth. The champs, however, ended up beating the 1st seed in 7 games, and moved onto the finals where they faced the first time MVP and his explosive point guard sidekick. In a tough, close series, the champs three peated in 6 games.

Am I talking about the 93 Bulls or the 14 Heat?

Stockton was not explosive.

Westbrook is no sidekick.

So, don't know who the fk you're talking about.
