Why do I have the Heat? LeBron will feast and beast. Let Shaq do what he do and Miami will overwhelm Kobe. Role players off set. Series over.

Shaq eviscerates every single Heat player that Spo throws at him. Kobe rips apart the rest. Lebron goes apeshit and puts up an admirable effort, but Bosh is crying in the locker room by the 2nd quarter, and Wade is icing his knees at halftime.

Shaq and Kobe's Lakers would utterly destroy the Heat.
I mean, so far, Lebron's Heat have beaten a young Thunder team and barely squeeked by an old Spurs team.
What the hell do you think the Shobe Lakers would do to them?

The prob for the Heat is that they don't have anyone who can stop Shaq.
Luckily for them, the Lakers do.

I'm going Shaq / Kobe Lakers if it's the 2000, and 2001 version. 2012 Heat could give 2002's club a run for their money. Who knows how this year's team will perform though. 2013 could've been up there but Wade hurt, weak showing in the playoffs didn't help.
The Heat might get lucky and Kobe will chuck them out the series. But nah, shaq destroys them. 40 points a game minimum.

Did you guys just missed the fact DPY-hungry older Lebron and Wade would shadow a 2000-2003 Kobe and let Shaq do his thing?

The only way Miami would win is, if kobe's taking 30 shots a game to score 30 points. If they run the offense through Shaq, he would absolutely destroy the Heat. LeBron will get his, no doubt, but Shaq had arguably 3 of the GOAT Finals ever. Also, a top 2 GOAT peak. No one's stopping him.

Shaq will go bananas, but there will be no young Kobe. That is the plan.

As long as the Heat can push it to a game 7, then they can focus on shutting down Shaq, and kobe will go 6-24

Ima have to go with Shaq and Kobe Lakers. Shaq would dominate the Heat. Kobe would rape Wade 1v1.
Of course LeBron has a big game. Chris Bosh would die if he was guarding Shaq

The Heat have problems with Hibbert so how the hell are they gonna guard Shaq???:facepalm
Those Lakers teams had people that could guard Lebron and Kobe would be on Wade so the x-factor would be Bosh(if not in foul trouble). Can't forget about young Fisher also
I got Lakers winning in 6 in a 7 game series.

The Lakers would win. Shaq would feast inside and Kobe in his young prime would lock up bron. Wade could cause problems but a good team effort on D could make his impact minimal. Lakers in 5.

They would have to let Shaq score and just defend the others

shaq/kobe duo perhaps the greatest duo of all time would eviscerate them, these guys almost swept the playoffs, not even the stacked cheat would have a chance, maybe if bran picks up the phone and gathers 2 more superstars in their primes...

There would be no young Kobe? Seriously?
Frobe shat on better defenders than Wade and Lebron, and much better defensive teams than the Heat. This isn't Derrick Rose or Tony Parker we're talking about.

Shaq would destroy Bosh/Haslem/Anderson. Nobody could stop him. They have enough trouble with Hibbert. I honestly would have Lakers in 4

Which Heat and which Lakers and what rules?
It probably wouldn't matter because Shaq is their worse nightmare. They wouldn't be able to do anything. Shaq would probably post his Finals numbers against them. Possibly even more. He may have his best numbers ever against the Heat.
The 2011 and 2013 Heat (healthy) have the best shot tho.
2011 Heat would be interesting because Wade played his best this year, but they still lacked bigs. Haslem got hurt tho, but if he didn't then I can see them making it a challenge against the 2000 and 2002 Lakers. Six games maybe? While their offense was more iso, Wade and the LBJ combo was at its strongest here, but the team was stronger later.
2013 if healthy could give them a challenge too. They can probably win more than one game against the 2001 Laker team.
But ultimately, they would probably lose because Shaq would be too beastly against them. If the Heat could make Hibbert look like Kareem and old man Duncan abusing the Heat's frontline, then prime Shaq would be a supernova in a cluttered galaxy. There will be nothing the Heat could do. Shaq would destroy them on the boards offensively and defensively, putbacks, post, and cause the Heat to get into foul trouble.
All the Heat teams have better 3pt shooters, so they could probably shoot their way into a win or two if they catch on fire. But the Lakers was the best in the league at defending the 3 too, and they had Shaq clogging the paint. Kobe playing well just depends on the defense that Wade and LBJ plays on him. It depends on which Kobe too.

Seriously. I know some of ya'lls too young to remember MJ's Bulls or the 90s in general, but I didn't think ya'll were too young to remember the early 2000s Lakers. Has the NBA become that weak that some of you are amazed by the garbage put in front of you today?
I mean, Shaq and Kobe are gonna do enough damage alone, but then you also have their role players in Fisher, Horry and Fox making big plays on a regular basis. On the Heat, you have Battier, but he's not shutting anyone down, and Allen, but Ray Ray isn't consistenly reliable anymore.
Lakers in 5, and I'm being generous.

The problem is that even if Battier/Wade/Bron can shut down Kobe, Shaq is a giant problem. Heat are built for the post-Shaq era

2001 is off the table no way any team can beat that 2001 team. the biggest problem is that shaq would just destroy anything the heat sends towards him while lebron can abuse the three on the perimeter, but would have to deal with shaq in the paint. and 11 wade is prolly better than 00 kobe, but i think 02 kobe is better than 13 and 14 wade. 01 kobe is prolly better than 12 wade too

2000 Lakers > 2011 Heat
2001 Lakers > 2012 Heat
2002 Lakers = 2013 Heat (7 game series, goes either way)

It'd be interesting to see if Miami would try to put Battier, Wade and Bron on Kobe. I wonder if Kobe would take it as a challenge and as others point out, shoot the Lakers out of a game or two.

Shhhhh, cool it with the facts. We have to keep that a secret.
We have to let people think that Kobe was nothing more than Shaq's Kenny Smith or Vernon Maxwell.

i thought heat was the most stacked team of all time tho?
you people really gota pick your sides lol, they can't be the most stacked team of all time if every other great team can beat them in 5.

More straw man.
No one said this ... we said they're the most cowardly stacked, talented team in TODAY'S league.
Especially relative to the competition. THAT'S the point. The Shaq / Kobe, inside / outside threat is more harmonious from a basketball perspective than:
LeBron's inherent redundancy with Wade, two players with streaky jumpers, and a soft, pussified stretch PF in Chris Bosh.
