classic video thanks for posting. this will be the 98th time i watch this video. if you want to see extraordinary man to man defense, i suggest you forward to around 10:24 in this video. seriously, it's one of the best one on one defense i have seen in a long time.

also, if you want to see pure strength and brute force, i suggest you forward to around 5:30 in the video. he moves lamar odom like some sort of rag doll. keep in mind lebron is only 22 years old in this game. truly remarkable, once in a lifetime athlete.

How about the play in Cleveland in 2010 when he outperformed Kobe? Had him ISOed at the top of the key. Started his drive to the basket, put Kobe in the spin cycle ... Kobe falls, but takes down LeBron with him.

22 year old Bron dropping 40 and being clutch in the regular season only to disappear for 20 on 30% in the finals. :facepalm

This guy disappoints me. He should have easily been the best player of all time if not for him being a mental midget.

We were robbed of seeing the greatest athlete ever. ****ing LeBron and his performance anxiety.

I remember that one. Kobe tripped him on purpose so that play wouldn't be on sports center top 10 highlights. Very clever move by Kobe, but bitch made at the same time.

I don't think he did that, but his body falling made LeBron fall. You're reaching now. LeBron falling ruined a great mano y mano play that would've been a great highlight.

For the youngins who weren't watching then:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAvfG99TfhY

On the same token, what about last year when Kobe embarrassed the hell out of LeBron. Shook him out of his jock strap on a fake spin?

And in a move that basically summerizes in essence Kobe's career ... he dupes a great defender in LeBron one on one, then awkwardly forces up a shot that airballs ... when the easy play to continue the great move would've been to make the great pass to the teammate beneath the rim.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r1VM0DIHLA

In essence, all that is great, and all that is wrong with Kobe. All that skill, but such a selfish agenda.

Watch the replay again bruh, Kobe falls down with his feet towards the other basket, then some how, magically, his legs are towards the Cavs bench. You can clearly tell he tripped him on purpose. There's no denying that.

Lol that move was nice by Kobe, but he stilled forced up a terrible shot. Turned a good move into a horrible possession. Since we bringing up missed shots / opportunities, this move by LeBron was better: http://youtu.be/3riY-jXRFxM. Schooled Kobe out his pants. It's too bad he missed, but he didn't force anything after he got the rebound, made an excellent pass to Chalmers for an open 3, splash.

My bad, you're right on the travel. Subtle hook, not blatant enough for a call. Shame he didn't finish with a dunk. Way to not use that imposing frame, and other worldly hops there Bron. Chicken shit.

Once LeBron turns around, Barnes and Gasol are quickly there to help. If Gasol didn't come as fast he does (pause), LeBron would've dunked it.

you said the essence of kobe's career is putting a nice move on a defender and throwing up an air ball

that's like a kobe stan saying the essence of lebron's career is the 2011 finals. people with agendas only mention the bad and completely ignore the good. the "essence" of kobe's career is an air ball. come on bruh :oldlol:

and you don't win 5 championships when the essence of your career is an air ball lmao

Stick to sandwiches, bud. That seems to be your Will forte.

I don't need any in depth basketball discussions with you headlined by "but 5 rangz" ...

The previous year (09) Kobe schooled Lebron with 2 impossible fadeaways

T-mac was the one that routinely made Kobe look foolish in 2003

Steve Smith used to eat young Kobe alive in 2000 :facepalm

I mean hes right.

Both are 2 time finals MVP's, but Kobe is better and its not close.
Lebron has 3 more MVP's, but its really not close, Kobe is better.
Lebron puts up better stats, but its not really close, Kobe is better.

Its just not close at this point. Kobe is far and away better.
